  • oh you probably have a nightshade intolerance yeah? solanin! It's in everthing good i swear i deal with the same issue. I just learned about ground sumac in the taco meat substitute instead of chiles i'm pumped to try it!

  • the mexican restaurants where i live steam the tortillas and it makes them extra pliable for wrapping. Works with the store bought tortillas if you put a wire baking rack on a big saucepan on the stove and boil a little water with a bit of foil or large lid on top of the tortilla

  • I looked up the flock cameras near me and they are all at home depot and lowe's, like many of them covering the whole parking lot. We don't have day labor here so i wonder why there specifically! Maybe those companies signed up for them at all of their stores? super creepy i'm glad i know where they are now im going to avoid them!

  • density of information and ability to doomscroll are my key criteria and nothing else nails these like Voyager. It's one of the few softwares i'm happy to pay for. The developer is really active too we got piefed support so fast! And if there are bugs I haven't run into them.

  • I use them after a POC friend said they thought it was cool when white folks use them and i've never heard anyone complain about it before this thread. It never occurred to me before that but i have many kinds of privilege so i'll make any simple accommodation like that I can.
