  • There's a bunch of Lemmy and mastodon servers in Europe and many places. Great way to have your own and be able to connect globally

  • The company I work for is sending a few of my coworkers to train some people in mexico so they can take over some of our manufacturing so that it can be built in mexico and ship from there internationally, this is the first time in the almost 15 years that Ive worked here that we are moving manufacturing out of the US. the last time they had this idea was when trump put the first tariffs on china, the plan then was to build and test units here then take them apart and ship them to germany where we will fly to to rebuild it there then ship to china lol. We also killed a lot of our low tier products because its just not worth it to build and sell anymore so I guess thats good for new competitors to fill the void

  • It is but I guess not as far as 90%?

  • Sounds like a lot more fiddling then just going to linux

  • That was my experience when I tried popos, everything was just there ready to go no messing around with terminal or anything, I ended up going to arch after trying fedora because like you mentioned popos is on the older side and when darktable updated I just started to notice it was a bit dated and when I went to fedora and had to learn that I figured might as well make the jump to arch. That was fun and I setup hyprland and everything but now I'm trying bazzite and its pretty good so far

  • It could be government subsidized with the requirement that it be under a certain cost. Or like a contract to see who could build a certain number of cars for a certain price and meet certains standards plus public chargers

  • Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture which says that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, any parodic or sarcastic expression of extreme views can be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of those views.

  • But they do sometimes

  • I am enjoying the remake after playing their new IP for a while

  • the spell making and the potions is what extended the game play for me so much, being able to stack speed boosts on enemies so they could run off a cliff and die or being able to jump out of a city by parkouring out all without any mods on the 360

  • I dont think they changed much of the game play other than the leveling gives you max points each level

  • like why not just send the data the meters are sending into a black hole until after systems are up for a while so that meters dont have a backlog of data that overloads the system

  • Why not just ignore the meters

  • I see don staring back at me
