I've activated "reduce transparency" and "increase contrast" in the accessibility settings so that it looks less like shit, and it's still transparent! what the fuck? When this computer dies I'm getting a Linux laptop…
I am now convinced that the Chinese way of notating dates (YYYY/MM/DD) is the superior method, just by virtue of avoiding the confusion of having to wonder whether it is DD/MM or MM/DD when seeing a date online. Of course ideally the best system is actually YYY/MM/DD using the French Revolutionary calendar (today is 234/03/30: 30 Frimaire, Year 234).
