I made the mistake of signing up for Discord with a new email address a couple years ago and the amount of spam I started getting to that email was insane. I wasn't using that email to sign up for any other accounts yet so I know it was them. Happened like a week after signing up, I figured they just immediately turn around and sell whatever info they get from their users as soon as they get it. I won't be giving them anything else, thanks.
The facility, though cost effective at the time it was planned (2009), is now twice as expensive to run as solar photovoltaic technology, which has decreased in price much more rapidly than was expected in the 15 years since Ivanpah's construction began.
This open statement that we're no longer concerned with adhering to Geneva Convention standards should have made these military leaders sick.
The contradiction that we're going to simultaneously hold all personnel to higher standards of grooming, fitness, etc while removing the obligation to adhere to any semblance of legal authority makes it crystal clear that cruelty is the point of all of this.
