idk if this is what OP meant but I have started seeing “subscriber-only” videos which require being a paid subscriber to the channel to view, and I haven’t found any working workarounds.

Severe cognitohazard warning for the HN comments (as usual any time the hackernews talk about homelessness).

Both US political parties would be considered “liberal” by the rest of the world’s standards - they support a very small welfare state, and the control of (major) business owners over everyone else.
Half the famous people and almost all rich people are part of long dynasties, but hereditary power is still their biggest critique of other nations.
This comment made me think hard. The chart didn’t seem dishonest to me: the Y axis font size is big enough, and abbreviating it seemed reasonable as a way of making more space to show the shape.
But it’s interesting to think about in the context of US education standards continuing to plummet: maybe design choices which would have been valid in, say, the 70s would end up being misleading now.
“The shenanigans” with Gitea = being Chinese. If you’re not a craven racist then either is fine.

Why would anyone use induction coils for tracking when TPMS transponder tracking is cheaper, easier, and less visible?
Even assuming there’s a way to uniquely identify vehicles based on their induction signature, digging up roads seems like a literally unbelievable amount of work by comparison.

Except for all the cultivars which don’t require pollination to fruit (which are the majority in some parts of the world).
And except for the figs pollinated by wasps who then manage to escape the fig.

I knew this was going to be disgusting, clicked it, regretted it, read the whole thread anyway. Send help.
