See my platform would be "All Parking Lots Must Be Connected"Because it pisses me off to no end trying to get to a location I can see with my eyeballs and the lot I turn into is somehow completely isolated from the adjacent ones
But I'll also gladly take on "Stop Fucking with the Internet" because I'm pretty passionate about that, too
Ugh... Right.... Today I was at a place with my partner and a group of younger (not as in young, just younger than us) girls behind us. They were talking about some place they were familiar with and how cute it was, how they hadn't been there in so long
"That's like the most instagramable place ever!" I swear I could see the back of my skull, that's how hard my eyes rolled
Told my partner, "I guess we judge places by how instagram worthy they are.." Their reply, "so cringe"
Thank you for that. I guarantee you when I think of ER it's a mashup of them both and I should probably give it a fair shake. There's a lot of shows my parents watched that I didn't appreciate until I was older
My family watched Northern Exposure and I absolutely fell in love with it when I gave it a shot a few years ago
And when I've tried it numerous times I'll let them walk me through the process while I browse the internet for a couple minutes while I "wait for the light to turn green"
Nope, it's still flashing yellow, like it has been, and has been after the last couple resets of everything between me and the wall
We had a dog that loved his doggy daycare/camp. He'd get bummed when we were packing but in the ride there he'd get over that really fast. Couldn't wait to get out of the car once we arrived! The only thing I didn't like was they all got flea powdered so he'd get a bath when we returned
I grew up with my family listening to NPR so some of my fondest memories are getting up to my parents or grandparents making breakfast with that on, or any other of their wonderful shows
Here's Click and Clack from the Car Talk radio show
Putting this show on is so bittersweet. I miss this from my upbringing and these two guys were so great; I was genuinely sad when I heard one of them had passed
I'll try to get the timestamp for the relevant part, but the title of the episode hopefully gives a hint and it's worth listening to it in the entirety anyways
Oh man, I've got one at home I got from Europe 20 some years ago. I hope to remember to get you a picture when I return
It says "Hard Rock Cafe Prague" in orange letters that don't match their font on a black sweater. 1000% unlicensed and I love it (I'm pretty sure that is the correct city)
I'm glad nothing went awry. I was always skeptical about it because no one figured it out. It's crazy what we do especially as kids with our innocent bliss
That reminds me of a "game" kids would (try) to play when I was young at school. The kids would say to do just that "bend over, take a deep breath" and the other one would try to lift them up really quickly. I never saw it work. I guess you were supposed to pass out. Idk
