  • I looked at the channel; this guy has found his niche and I very much approve. I listened to a little bit but I can't really listen - my partner is asleep next to me. What I heard of the linked was fun and I'd like to enjoy more, but I'm trying not to laugh at these titles alone:

  • What are some other ones you like? I like having fun things like that to look into when I'm wondering if something is going on

Anecdote: A while ago my partner and I were sitting together in bed playing something when an unusually large jet flew right overhead. Which is also unusual. I've lived at my place a while and I know the air traffic patterns. There are a few military bases around and the only thing that flies close to me that I can hear are helicopters (side story, I saw 5-6 Chinooks flying all together once and I was so fucking thrilled)

I used flightradar24 to find what the hell just rattled my home apart; it was a MASSIVE jet, a c5 super Galaxy . It passed over the way my window faces so I was able to see it and holy fuck was I awestruck. I've lived somewhere else near a base and routinely had smaller cargo planes pass a few thousand to hundreds of feet over me. Those were still impressive. But this will probably be the biggest plane I see in flight and it was incredible

I have seen the Spruce Goose though! It wasn't in flight, just in a museum

  • Ooooh this is something I don't know about! I'm guessing c3, c4 are classes and how things photosynthesize differently. Can you direct me to some reading materials?

Does it have anything to do with how some succulents turn red with sun stress?

  • I'm in the same boat. This type of post makes me feel like I'm having a stroke

  • I have a copy still and was thinking of firing up the ps3 to give the full flashback experience

I couldn't find it so I drew myself holding the game in lieu. If I find the game I'll make an update (which now I need to go find it because I know I have it)

Ok, so I was like "I bet it's with the ps3" but I already drew the picture so here's the photo:

  • As a kid I'd 100% dilute half and half or cream and use that

Only reason I don't anymore is because I can't do dairy

  • You didn't ask me, but I'd like to answer.

I've unironically loved ICP for 20+ years

I was listening to a user run web radio station. I can't remember exactly, I think it was a channel on IRC. I know I was listening to it on winamp. I heard "My Axe" and fell in love. I understood immediately they didn't take themselves seriously and were playing a bit

I do not like the blind hate they get. A lot of the music is objectively not good but that wasn't the point. They had a message that clicked with me. I liked how they spoke out against bigotry and the "richies"; they speak about pastors taking their parishioners money to live the good life. And they hate cops

The biggest message though was inclusion. I think icp resounded with people who had no one else. I've wanted to go to a Gathering for a long time because for a long time those were my people

tldr; I'd go to a gwar show

  • Thank you for creating a cute little lady but I think she also needs a schlong content!

  • "It is the first time astronauts have been evacuated due to a health issue since the station was put into Earth's orbit in 1998."

Fourth paragraph - above what you quoted

Not necessarily. Video starts out with a spoon, and at 30 seconds on he's trying two spoons

Worth a watch, it's good to learn about things we've been taught. I learned a long time ago that metal was safe in the microwave as long as it was smooth and up until then I thought NO METAL EVER. Mixing bowls without handles perfectly fine and great for melting things (like chocolate)

Edit: I rewatched it and because it is so ingrained even my remembery was wrong. Doesn't even have to be smooth (like a shark)

  • YSK: Arte.tv, the European culture channel has free shows, documentaries and concerts.

  • I tried the site; it must not like Firefox. But I grabbed the app! I love the variety, I'm overwhelmed with choices. Thank you for the heads up, I appreciate ways of broadening my horizons

  • I still have it around somewhere in hopes I can fix it

When I got it, my family said it didn't work, it had some weird error. I charged it and turned it on so they were like "sure you can have it"

It was my first smartphone,. actually, and I used it for quite a while until it died again. I don't remember the error, but it was basically bricked and I couldn't factory reset it via the phone menu. I had a very young child and trying to figure out the android sdk for a computer to fiddle that out was too taxing for me

I really liked that phone for sure. I'm sure it's a lot of nostalgia, but I miss the older simpler phones. Much easier to handle, too.

I've currently just been using every couple generations of the Xa model. This one's a pixel 7a, last was a 4a which the child has now. It's got severe battery life issues after that update recently but I haven't looked into it too hard. Been wanting to look for some alternatives and I'm leaning towards something unconventional, at least by today's standards. I checked out that phone and it really looks good, both aesthetically and specs wise

  • I had a Nexus that I got as a hand me down. It had a ball with customizable colors

The next one I had after that had an led you could customize for different types of notifications

  • Careful; don't be too short or you might also become a threat. It's her advantage, being so short

  • "here's a list of shitty things you've done and said"

"but that makes me look bad!!"

  • Oh I made another comment but this was what I was talking about! I was talking to my partner about it last night after watching the CES video. I couldn't remember the name but this is exactly it

I said it was "Rock Pops" because i think that's great

  • I watched a video about the worst of CES. I was kind of amused that some of the winners of worst-of weren't even new ideas

There was a candy I remember that from a long time ago, idk 2000ish? It was a lollipop you bit down on and you could hear music played through your teeth. I never tried it but it was sold where I worked

Another idea, the worst of the worst, was the smart fridge. I remember from business classes I took many years ago used that as an example of innovation. Or a "smart" microwave. You let it know what ingredients you have, for example by scanning the barcode, so it can recommend recipes or alert you when something is running low

The rendition of those ideas at the CES were so out of touch

  • That is a sassy look. She's beautiful btw! I can understand the strict regimen better

  • What I imagine is besties; driver is indeed a gay guy but there's a scrappy chick who's down for anything riding along

I don't know where to find it, but it gives me the vibes of this clip I saw: chick getting regular voice comms harassment in a game and she replied (as close as I can remember)"I'm going to fuck your dad and give him a child he can be proud of"
