  • You probably need to update your phone as I think this is a recent change.

You can now have either a 2-wide quick setting which offers both a one-tap solution and the popup menu solution, or you can shrink it to 1-wide and just have it enable/disable Bluetooth.

  • When I tap it on my Pixel 7, it enables/disable Bluetooth instantly. How much faster than instant do you need your Bluetooth status to change?

  • MAGAts awfully quiet all of a sudden.

Mace went from "democrats must own this" to "Jesus save this lost individual" on cue.

    Evil people, all of them.

  • $40 each.

That's insane. I've never played these Mario games, and I guess I never will.

Suppose I could emulate them these days

  • I'll give it a go. What personal data are you collecting (as per the Google Play Store listing)? Why does a meal planner need to collect personal data anyway?

  • If that happens (and it's a big if, they're not taking adb away any time soon) I'll just use the fancy new Linux environment that Pixels have and script a way to open up YouTube from within that. Since it's my own Linux environment I can have adblock installed. No worries.

  • ... either a troll or a bot. I'll let the mods know.

  • How? On what merit? What has been accomplished?

  • It's social media. Social media has emboldened the racists to stop hiding, creating their own safe echo chambers where they can make their racist statements without much blowback. That in turn has emboldened politicians to cater to the growing number of people who happily comment 'usual suspects' on crime news posts or some other crap about asylum seekers getting 5 star hotels with bed and breakfast before getting their own 4 bed detached house built for them.

The two biggest issues we have in modern society is poor education (lack of critical thinking skills) and a pathetically regulated social media. Social media should've been tightly regulated ten years ago, now we have people in their 20s with warped views of the world because they grew up with social media.

It'll lead us to a Reform win and the UK's further capitulation to American interests. Fun times.

  • To be fair he can probably buy additional soles. Not sure if the devil even wears shoes.

  • Don't get this post personally, just feels like empty nationalism or satire.

What has 'His Majesty' done in those 4 years to back up the claim that he's 'lovingly ruled his kingdom and us'?

    Bizarre Lemmy post.

  • A bad example considering Apple's Calculator app for iPadOS blows Google's out of the water.

  • I guess that's kinda cool.

  • Not really necessary if you limit your APK sources to trusted sources like apkmirror or github.

  • I dunno, you're the one claiming stuff that isn't necessarily true (yet). This is a proposed update to Google Play Protect. You don't have to have Google Play Protect enabled, and disabling it doesn't really impact anything unless you're the type of person to just download an apk from unverified sources.

  • The 6a is a four year old budget phone so of course moving to the S25 will be significantly improved...

  • I like the idea of the tool very much but it doesn't support Fitbit so I don't know why it's been posted here other than your typical Lemmy FOSS-leaning sentiment.

  • Just turn off Google Play Protect and it'll let you sideload whatever you want.

  • I think it's decent value but I'm already running extensions or mods to skip the in-video ads, so I may as well just block ads for free too.

If YouTube Premium ever got an official sponsorblock, it'd become a good deal.
