  • I’m sorry, I guess I could post this elsewhere, but there is computer software that can do a lot better job than people at determining possible collisions That software can notify people who can then oversee the change in flight pattern.

    Currently the warning system still requires human acknowledgment without any communication to the Vehicle/vehicles involved.

    A system that would work would notify the individuals who are flying within their instrument panels similar to how we use Waze in a car to notify us if we need to turn right. Having 1 million air traffic controllers trying to do that job for the user is just foolish.

  • Bingo, the wording of what he’s giving it away for has nothing to do with registering to vote. It is about signing his PAC if you are already registered to vote. If you yourself determine that voting would be a reason to register and you also sign his PAC well, then you get $1 million. There’s nothing illegal about that and Elon only got a warning, if it was something illegal, he would’ve been arrested for already doing it before, they issued that “warning”.

  • Depends on how many devices you have, for example I use the keyboard on my iPad instead of having an iPad keyboard case. I leave the keyboard plugged into the studio display as mentioned in another post to allow for me to quickly switch between devices that use that display and the keyboard instantly switches between them because it’s plugged in. I use a plugged in Anker vertical mouse as well because, there’s no interference.

    The M1 Mac Studio computer itself sits about 3 feet away from my desk along with all of the other components connected to it, the thunderbolt cable that connects to the Studio Display is the only thing that comes to the desk.

  • I had AirPod Max from 2020 forward and I have several pairs for Family. What I’ve found is that any replacement ear cushions that are sold on the market degrade sound quality considerably, active noise cancellation is also degraded, so you must be careful what type of modifications are done. In addition, Apple’s ear cushions bleed, sound, so there are Silicon covers that you can get that make a better seal around your ear, and the sound to me is identical to the AirPods Pro Gen 2 USB-C.

    By the way, I can hear in both the AirPods Pro and the AirPods Max, the two stage of noise cancellation, the first stage, and then the sampling and the second stage of noise cancellation. The H1 chip processes this slower than the H2 chip however.

    iFixIt group said the upgrade to USB-C for AirPods Max have a slight change to the amount of adhesive used around the components within the earcup, some of this may be due to prevention of any type of condensation, which may or may have never caused an issue in the past. They also noted that there was a different type of adhesive used to seal the speaker.

  • Anker vertical mouse for me, my wrist over the years had too much twist using a flat-based mouse of any type. I do have an apple mouse that I have thrown in a bag that goes around with me in case I have an emergency. The mouse is so flat and so light that I’ve never noticed that it’s there until I need it. The cases where I do it’s convenient, but to be honest, the track pad is easier.

  • Apple has fallen for the fanboys talking about how the android phones and android tablets are larger than the Apple devices, do that for 10 years and Apple now has continued to raise the minimum size of everything, all while, forgetting those that appreciate a light weight device, a small device, as well as a convenient tool that instead of taking up room can simply be connected to an external display or keyboard or other type of device to see those images larger The limitations of iPadOS is really less than people make it out to be, the point of a tablet device is for consumption and for viewing and for making that easily accessible and limiting what it provides to make the mobile experience optimum. What I mean by that is if they enabled iPadOS to have all of the macOS features, the simplicity of iPadOS would be lost.

  • I leave my wireless keyboard plugged into the studio display so that when I switch machines, the keyboard still works for and switches instantaneously.
