  • Systematic (and alleged automated) denials of claims are highly immoral, unethical and possibly illegal thing to do. I just think this doesn't solve the root problem and just adds one more death without fixing it. I don't think this is both a sensible way as well as right way to fix this. Also, I don't think you can just stamp each CEO as immoral automatically. General thinking for specific groups of people is frowned upon based on ethnicity, origin or gender, yet when we look at socioeconomic groups it suddenly becomes right? I think the freedom of movement should exist for even those in power and political//legal issues should be handled the right way. Peaceful protests and movements for a healthcare reform are the only right way long term to support this if you're American and really care about the issue. Short term violence LARPing just causes polarization and makes the people fighting against this system seem crazy.

  • Maybe because he was a human???

  • Seems like its the other way around on here. Honestly, the insurance system should just change to universal health care and if wealthy people aren't content they could just buy an extra insurance on top or pay themselves while still contributing to public health. The system is at fault, not a replaceable CEO. Because while he might be replaceable for the company, he sure still had a family, friends and nothing will change now

  • Yeah, give the good guys guns so they can defend themselves from the bad guys with guns. This is literally your argument

  • You think the successor will change shit? This has to be changed politically, not just to hope you have a keen CEO; If you don't deliver financially shareholders will just replace you

  • Bro you really think the shareholders wouldn't just kick him out if he didn't deliver? He's not the owner of the company and he didn't implement this political system

  • Who are you to decide what justice is? I know you probably hate insurance companies, but is the system being not the fault of politics not reforming it. Violence LARPing seems really prevalent here, idk man

  • Don't they have to pass through Denmarks waters to leave Europe? Anyways, the only other option is going back to Russia. I hope if china really isn't involved they allow NATO troops to just enter the boat or they just go to a port themselves by order of their company. But NATO boats can't like surround them long term right, because then they'd stop the crew from moving and starve them out.

It's clear to me that Russia in one way or another is involved in this. I just wonder if China is directly involved.

  • I wouldn't blame anyone for selling this as an art piece tbh. If people have too much to throw away? If someone told me I could like glue an apple to a painting and get crazy cash for it I'd do it in an instant

  • New uniforms aren't useless. If the Bundeswehr wants to be an attractive employer they need modern uniform. I read online that people who served find the current ones very outdated. We just need to invest more in the military in total

  • Honestly, I get what you mean, but it also provides funding for new housing projects to be built first, and if you weren't allowed to invent in it it would also not really be possible to rent a house, since that relies on someone paying for the house first.

  • It is Russia who invaded an independent country against humanitarian law, kidnapped children and is using foreign soldiers form North Korea to fight their war. They also use Iranian drones on Ukrainian territory. Russia also keeps threatening to use nukes. Ukraine returning the favour with Taurus missiles would totally be justified and legitemate with the geneva convention as they are defending themselves.

  • Actually doing this would not only be immoral but just treat the symptoms of the downfalls of capitalism, not the cause. We need legislative change that has a proper social safety net, not violence LARPing.

  • Not every billionaire built their life doing something unethical. Killing them wouldn't make you any better. People also fuel monopolies out of convenience even if they have a choice to act ethical. We should strive for legislative change. The billionaire might be the owner of parts of a company, but we as a society use the services for our daily lives. What economic system that actually works also supports free ideas, innovation and the willingness to perform other than something based on capitalism (Communism never worked and doesn't reward it properly). Treating symptoms won't treat the cause. We need legislative change.

  • Very idealistic to think that the redistribution of all that money wouldn't just cause mass inflation! Also, mot of the money is tied up in companies. They don't just have the money lying around. There would be no one to buy all these assets. I get the sentiment, that they make money from the work of their employees. At some point companies become to big to fail but when someone is starting a business the personal risks and investment someone takes to grow a company also should be respected.

We don't produce nearly enough for everyone to be get fully all the things they rely on while barely anyone works. Thats not how the economy would end up working. We need a social safety net, so no complete free market which is toxic but as much as I dislike some billionaires your proposal is just not realistic and fantizises violence without accomplishing anything

  • Oh yeah and then what. The Worlds 20st richest countries leaders are dead. The world is in chaos and you think communism would solve all problems, just like it did in China, the Soviet Union or Cuba. The people there have no problems right. Violent fanatism jippie!

  • Seems like the people in the comments are rather fond of the idea

  • Sure bud, if you say so :>
