  • That doesn't really work in my experience because artists seem to be incapable of tagging their work correctly.

  • This, I think, is the best way. You start to recognise people that are buying all the same stuff you like so follow them and periodically have a look at what they are buying.

All other avenues on bandcamp are a bit shit IMO. Tags are dog shit because artists never tag their work correctly and my feed will constantly be old shit I listened to a long time ago. You can't even rely on it to let you know when artists you follow release new work.

I love bandcamp but I also fucking hate bandcamp xD

  • I am also to some degree but I think I went into this with different expectations, not expecting punishment and so therefore I was taken aback.

Thanks for the tips, I have read you can break the game within a few hours but that isnt what I'm really looking to do so I'm going to try and use a guide as little as possible and just look up specific points I need clarifying.

Apparently I inadvertently chose the more difficult character but the storyline differences does seem interesting. I'll see how well the game clicks over some more time!

  • I went in wanting to play as blind as possible but after being thrown into combat with no tutorial what so ever and then absolutely no explanation of what anything is, skills, specials skills, skills sets etc etc I started doing some cursory searching. Then everyone is screaming about levelling determination fully first and so I had to go down a rabbit hole just to find out where to get that because everyone spoke as if you had it from the start, which you don't.

Even the guides for this game aren't super helpful to someone that has zero background knowledge on the game at all. I'm still not sure if I actually want to delve as deep into it as it seems is necessary but I'm going to out a few more hours in and try to not fuck up my characters in that time and see how well it clicks.

I heard the first one is even more painful! How did you find it?

  • I have just started Star Ocean 2 on PSP, it is confusing trying to figure out what is going on as nothing has been explained so far at all in terms of the different systems going on.

  • Yeh, I will try it out but I don't think I could rely on an install like this without a fair amount of stress testing to see how it reacts but still worth a try!

  • Hmmm interesting, thanks for the link. I am skeptical as to how well it will work, if at all and that is a very old version but I appreciate the response and will definitely give this a try when I have some time to tinker!

  • Traktor DJ made by Native Instruments

  • Because it is live audio mixing so I need there to be as close to zero audio and input latency as possibly which isn't really achievable, at least not on my current hardware. It also needs to be extremely stable for performances which again adding additional layers like VMs is just poor practice and asking for a bad time.

There is Mixxx which runs on Linux which I have been watching the development of for many many years, it is getting close to being comparable now with a lot of improvements over the last few years, but still isn't quite there for me. I'm hoping I can switch over to that full time within the next few years, the recent surge in Linux users is pushing its development faster, so it is only a matter of time until I can ditch what I use currently.

  • Yeh. Would if I could but I can't..... DJ software doesn't work on Linux. I've emailed them every year for the last ten years asking for a Linux version but they don't give a shit.

  • In settings - general there is a toggle for "no subscribed appearing in local / all"

    You must have that toggled

  • Thanks for the info, I went and checked it out though and it isn't always there. If an image hasn't loaded then it seems like the share option gives me an option to open in the browser, if the image does load though that option isn't there.

It is good to know but having open in external under the share option seems pretty counter intuitive to me personally.

  • Gift is such a sick album!

  • I too would like an "open in external" or similar option. I thought there was one at one point but the other day when I was looking for it I had to click share to copy the URL then open a browser and paste in the link.

  • Buy a used pixel....

  • "Relatively popular songs are stored in their original 160kbit/s OGG Vorbis quality, while the rest use 75kbit/s "

I don't know OGG files but if that is comparable to MP3s of the same quality then it is all pretty shitty quality.

  • Update

So after playing around i have figures out that it is something relating to the keyboard. If I switch between apps when the previous app has the keyboard open, like a messenger, then I will get this error. However switching from something, including the same messaging app, without the keyboard open then it won't cause this error.

Using Heliboard if it makes a difference :)

edit if I open an image post full screen then it will revert back. If I open the same post in comments view then it will stay the same.

  • Yeh your issue is a known issue as I have had the same for a while now. It also weirdly does not show up when you screen record and replicate the issue for whatever reason as I tried for the last month or so to catch it in the act but it refused to be recorded xD

  • No change, it stays as it is.
