Yes, exactly my point, the march is suppressed by the authoritarian government. 7 million is a lot when it probably could have been twice that if everyone was able to come out who disagreed with how things are going.
Worth noting that it's in spite of threats of violence and getting disappeared. There's bound to be some people who didn't attend because of immigration status or worry over job loss.
I like it because it's clever. It's still kinda boomer humor about prison rape but No Kings isn't about getting angry about something like that when we have a common enemy.
Plus who knows, Big Beautiful Bill might just be a lovely, swell fellow.
I noticed that. I'm not a huge fan of bluesky but use it to not get too out of mainstream... but I'm curious and a little worried to see how they moderate it. They've already spewed lies and racism, so they're pretty much already violating the rules on that platform.
I'm with you on this, I think. It's not the best spoon but I bet it's got an eerie glow to it, and perhaps shines blue when in the presence of milk or something.
Maybe it's my eyesight but I never noticed it graining. The only thing I remember is that the lighting isn't ever as good. I did play a majority of it on the desktop, but that was mostly for ultra wide mod... over the shoulder games always make me kinda claustrophobic.
I beg to differ, I found the first one to play weirdly well on it. Didn't play the second. I often used it as an example of what the deck can do, since it was smooth.
It's like the search summary problem, only worse. Before, people lost traffic already cause Google would try to answer the question with a snippet from your site; however, LLMs (or at least ChatGPT) are trained on Wikipedia, because it's available data. With Reddit being first, Wikipedia being the second largest source of facts they used (at least, according to statista).
Side note, you're not even supposed to source facts from Reddit or Wikipedia, they're better for finding other sources. It's like a game of telephone, at the tertiary source you're getting even less accurate information. It's just oh so stupid the direction end users are herded towards.
Dailies in games suck but imagine if you had a boss give you a free ticket to a gacha every day for completing your reports and junk. A literal 99 cent value sexy waifu toy.
Like ok that's slightly better than an occasional pizza party but still insulting, lol
People have been sharing this like crazy on bluesky and they never seem to care if it's AI or not, let alone who the artist is. I guess that's why I like Lemmy, lol.
Hmm... maybe. The state of the world has been pretty awful for the past year so I imagine that plays a part. Aside from trolls, lots of us are on edge as the whole world seems to tilt right with propaganda and AI.
That said, I like us.
I browse bluesky too and find I actually prefer Lemmy because it's a bit more self-policing... Like regarding AI slop, bluesky is fucking rampant with it, like Trump dressed as a clown or Newsom with abs, it's fucking awful. Lemmy has a couple communities for AI but on average, you try that shit and you'll get publicly shamed. That could be considered mean, but I appreciate it (especially if it's AI I can't even tell).
That's interesting, and I should read up on it since I teach about these things (survey class so ADHD being only one week of info, tho). It's definitely a give and take-- for some, medication can be liberating if they feel out of control; for others like you, it might not have been worth it. Hope you've come to appreciate your own strengths!
