  • must suck for you, since the people youve hurt obviously won't forgive you

Don't take this as an insult (because it's not meant as one), but accusing someone you don't know like that kinda discredits anything you're trying to say, whether you're right or not.

  • Franz Ferdinand wasn't an important figure in Europe either.

  • Oh come on. You really think rich people and the police protecting them would let a millionnaire killer run free?

They need a scapegoat, but what they need more is the certainty that the shooter won't do more damage.

  • Great. Now why don't you try to unite on some serious shit, like wealth inequality.

  • "I am sad" doesn't at all mean that sadness is my defining characteristic. It usually means sadness is a temporary state.

Non-linguists trying themselves at linguistics always often come up with pseudo facts like this.

  • He doesn't need to: nobody's resisting.

  • When RT calls you a dictator, you might be doing something good.

  • Agree. If you let nature take care of your yard, it definitely won't look like the bottom pic.

  • Republicans are not conservatives anymore, they embraced fascism, and fascists don't care about rules. They only care about power, the kind that allows them to bully everyone into submission.

  • Yeah but he's one of the few Democrats actually doing something against Trump and co.

  • Anger and outrage sell, and the shows that lean more to the right are the ones that draw most heavily on those two emotions.

We need more outrage on the left, but it's harder to come by because it frightens the rich who own all media companies.

  • Exactly. When people lose faith in democracy, leaders have free rein.

  • This all feels like the government is testing US cities. First LA, next Washington, to see how people react, to check how obedient the cops are to the regime, and to know which cities will be easy to control.

  • European countries might find ways to be less dependent on the US, economically and politically. The fall of the US will have repercussions, but the rest of the world is already preparing for it. I don't think Europe will suffer that much... China will be all to happy to replace the US as a commercial partner.

  • A majority of people voted for Trump, and the elections were not rigged. Maybe you're not among them, but the fact that you live in the same country as them means that you share the responsibility.

If you don't want to share it, organize and fight back. There's still time left before the US becomes a police state comparable to Russia or China.

  • Alligator Auschwitz won't populate itself

  • Most people won't realize it until masked men put them in an unmarked van.

  • There's an important revenue boost from tariffs. On the other hand, Trump's is defunding a lot a federal organizations. Where is the money going?

  • Serious question: what would be the last straw for you, that would make you go "that's enough", organize and fight back?
