Probably the immediate threat, but the long tail of consequences will go on for a while. Who would want to work with us when we have twice elected a guy like Trump? We are pretty unreliable partners at this point. 😕
So helpful. Gemini once summarized a VM from my kid (who is autistic and doesn't speak super well) as a "long, rambling and incoherent message" with no attempt to decipher what was said. We will not be replaced by AI anytime soon.
My initial thought was that you could have a medical issue you are unaware of - since eating can make you nauseous and you have allergies/intolerances. Might be worth exploring with your doc/a nutritionist or at bare minimum tracking what you eat and what gives you the least amount of problems.
My next thought is to start slow. You can gradually increase calories so your stomach doesn't get overwhelmed. Find high cal foods that agree with you and sneak them into dishes you already like, such as adding hemp seeds to oatmeal (I might be the only person who likes that combo, but you get the idea).
Being disabled is difficult, and I don't want to downplay that. But just to give you a bit of hope: I'm happily married to an autistic guy and have two autistic kiddos (one is pretty severe). Keep an eye out for your people - they are probably looking for you too.
I don't know your experience with makeup, being tired and aging... I get the sense that people (often men) cannot tell the difference between tired and aging. Makeup hides both. I don't get the comments often from women very often. So I am assuming they are able to see the nuance (or have the tact to not say something).
I don't know what other women hear, but I get a lot of "you look tired today" when we don't wear make up - and it was worse before it started Botox/filler. I don't think people even know that they are pushing the culture.
They had one of these a while back in Seattle. They were constantly dirty/gross OR someone would go in there for an extended period of time - basically rendering them useless. It is better to have bathrooms with an attendant.
I didn't know that, but am excited to add that to my cat facts list. 😊
