  • My objection is to using the phrase "20k' above Mt. Everest" when that's an altitude above sea level.

  • where a helicopter took her 20,945 feet above Mount Everest. After strapping in to her board and freefalling for several minutes, she landed on a flat runway at 12,356 feet

This makes no sense. That puts the starting height at 29029+20945=~50k feet. The Guinness record for highest helicopter flight is 40,820'.

This article says 20945 was the starting height. Saying this is "over" Mt. Everest is rather misleading.

  • "Let’s talk about health again for the 25th time,” he said at the start of the interview. “My health is perfect,” he added.

Quick, bring out the conspiracy theorists - he's admitting there have been conversations about the 25th amendment!

  • It's broken, searching for "Epstein" has no results.

The contact list is fun, Trump has a box around his name (page 80).

  • Zero for the triggering action. A human rolled out a permissions change in a database that led to an unexpected failure in a different system because that other system was missing some safety checks when loading the data (non-zero chance that code was authored in some way by AI).

  • Tomatoes are mildly acidic, so something similar should get you an approximation of the flavor. Pickled onions might be a good choice, or some other lightly pickled fruit/veg (maybe beets for salad). Actual dill pickles are not going to be too acidic to be a good substitute (but are a great thing to put on sandwiches in addition to tomato anyway).

Pineapple might work in some cases, but it has a strong flavor and sweetness that won't work everywhere a tomato does. Salsas are a good place for this as a tomato substitute (along with mango and corn), but pineapple does also work well in some sandwiches.

  • Following that incident, airlines and TSA began asking passengers to voluntarily remove their shoes when going through security.

Voluntarily?? When was it ever voluntary?

  • Genius. If you vaporize them they can't melt.

  • I hear Greenland has WMDs - in the form of melting glaciers that will cause some kind of climate catastrophe. /s

  • Trains must have stopped derailing, all we hear about now is planes. /s
