  • I thought you posted at some point about long hours? That’s a common issue to organise around. Of course if you don’t feel safe organising, then don’t do it. But when people say organise, they mean organise labour. If labour is not organised, there is no way to do a general strike or any type of pressure on the government. Maybe if by some miracle unions are more popular in the US it would be easier for you to join one.

  • ok but organize what?

    a union at your workplace.

  • its not that the reforms themselves are bad or wouldnt work, its that the capitalist state would never implement such reforms because it is not in the interest of the capitalist class. you would need mass mobilizations that have the power to shut down an economy, and if you are already at that point, why not demand everything?

“In the crisis of Western capitalism and the drive toward war and rearmament, the aggression against Venezuela is not only an attempt to seize the country’s rich strategic resources,” wrote the Italian left party Potere al Popolo, the trade union Unione Sindacale di Base, and several student organizations in a call for nationwide protests on January 10. “It is also an effort to reassert control over what Washington still considers its ‘backyard,’ and an attack on an alternative model to imperial barbarism.”

  • What is revolutionary fiction to you?

  • Fair

  • The expectation you're gonna brake that lifelong inertia with a simple logical argument when everything else in the world is telling them otherwise, isn't just naive, it's conceited as hell.

I don’t think the author has that expectation. Do you believe that people don’t make choices? Do you not make choices? Why do people break out of inertias then?

  • sadly i couldnt find a 2D version of their maps. its unfortunate that its not more accessible. maybe they can help if you contact them?
