Not a hypothetical. I spend a lot of time in Asian factories as they’re bringing up more capacity to avoid Chinese tariffs. The vast majority fund their out-of-China-operations with BTC because they can move it around without interference from the Chinese government. The American right is acting in a way that is identical if they were fully compromised and acting as Russian agents. Promoting the dissolution of the EU only benefits Russia.

If Biden would have stepped back earlier, if Kamala wouldn’t have coddled Israel, if the dems didn’t cozy up to the Cheneys, if the party could have admitted where mistakes were made and promised to correct them, then dem voters would have felt like there’s a chance for their interests to be represented, then the election would have been a landslide.

I’m not saying America isn’t misogynistic, but the election loss isn’t solely due to that.

There is no longer any one-child policy. In 2016 it was updated to a 2 child policy. In 2021 it was expanded to 3 children.

That’s an understood expectation. It’s similar to college. The professor is empowered to dictate the structure and norms of their course.

And sure… The professor will dictate their expectations on day 1. If you don’t like the structure, you have 2 weeks to change the course with no penalty.

In this case, you can argue that “not showing up” is doing their job, since they’re protecting the voice of their constituents.
