  • You can try adding the overrides in wine cfg instead (you can use proton tricks to make this easier if you're running through steam). I'm not familiar with this mod though so I'm afraid I can't help you further. Hopefully someone else who knows the mod will be able to help.

  • You need to add DLL overrides. You can do this in the wine prefix settings or via a launch command

  • I'm all for hating on corporations but did you even read the article? This is completely on the UK government. Not apples fault and I'd much rather they stop offering the service to UK customers (which they did) over putting a backdoor in

  • not sure how heroic works but try adding PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 as a launch/environment variable

  • Have you tried running the game without the patch?

    What version of wine/proton are you using? I believe newer versions of proton do what that 4GB do by default. I think it can also be forced in proton using PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 but it should be on by default.
