To be fair, it is helpful to do grunt repetitive work which is only slightly different from the established formula. For me, it solved a quick math olympiad-esque problem which appeared in research.

Analyticity means the function locally behaves like (infinite-degree) polynomial. I'd say, it's not strange that infinitely differentiable functions are not necessarily analytic - polynomials are quite restrictive, after all.
Well, over complex plane, differentiability = infinite differentiability = analyticity, so there's that.
Agreed, I see no way Linux phones become a viable alternative in the near future. Tbh, it is extraordinary to expect Linux on phones when it only has small adoption in desktop space - how will it be ready for phones, for which no Linux apps have been developed? Coupled with the funding and hardware compatibility, I just don't see Linux phones.
