  • Incredible effort from the dolphin team (as usual!)

  • Because suddenly a large number of people who didn't know now do?

  • Login-walled. Can you not even watch youtube videos without signing in now?

  • You can use a free or paid account but some time last year (I think) they also made it so you can use it without even logging in (on android at least)

  • It's relatively fresh in my mind fortunately. Have a look on the wiibrew wiki, it probably has all the other hacks available. Also consider a pre-hacked Wii, probably only £10 or so on eBay!

  • Yeah it's bring-your-own ROM because it's just a modified version of Dolphin Emulator. I used the Wii trilogy version, had it installed on my WiiU and it was ridiculously easy to dump the ROM with Dumpling (you don't need a modified console). If you've got GameCube/Wii discs then you'll need a hacked Wii, I think it's not too hard to hack a Wii if you own specific games (like Brawl which lets you read stages from an SD card and run arbitrary code), I think CleanRip is the tool you use to dump the ROM.

  • I never played the original on GameCube but I did all three on Primehack on the Steam Deck and it seemed to work pretty well. It took a bit of tinkering to get it working, but it was definitely worth it. Happy to assist if you have any questions!

  • Have you played it on Primehack? Among other fixes it gives it modern dual-stick controls.

  • You do not

  • I switched to Ente Photos recently, it's not Immich but it seems like a pretty solid Google Photos replacement and has a free tier

  • At least there was a transition period. I remember configuring TimeSplitters 2 and the original Halo to let me use the good old tank controls I was used to from GoldenEye.

  • It's your character, the art you draw is the official art!

  • I don't think it's fan art if it's your character, I think it's just art

  • Rectum? Damn near killed 'em!

  • Have a search for "universal pokémon randomiser" (there are apparently loads of different forks of it now), it's main feature is to randomise which pokémon you encounter, their types, moves, etc, but you could skip that and just set "change trade evolutions" and "catch em all mode" to get exactly what you want. I would recommend playing it randomised though!

  • In this video game, despite the random allocation of individual digital content from the Packs, the human player can use their own skills to control the course of the game with a probability suitable for success, thus establishing a rational expectation of winning

A game of poker or even blackjack requires skill, so I guess that means it's not gambling?

  • You could try a dedicated web browser just for those videos? Brave is a bit dodgy but you could keep it around only for those sites.

  • Elephants in northern Denmark? Ridiculous!

    Southern Denmark though? Elephant central.
