As always, the most secure password is the least convenient and accessible. It's a trade off, but you want fewer dictionary words and patterns overall. Preferably with a physical component for the master password.
At least you can understand how others justify their continued use based on the lack of no perfect alternative, even in the face of the current solutions imperfections.
If you find yourself not wanting to switch, there are third party options for patching. I'm going to try zero patch, but I have no experience with them to date.
It's a framing tactic to paint the opposition as 'for this awful thing' when in reality the issue is the further erosion of privacy under the guise of 'safety.'
