I've got a time-traveling kick in the nuts prepared for whoever invented wall-humping for unmarked secrets. I first remember this from Wolfenstein 3D but I'm not sure if it existed before then.
So every time there's an unexplained payment on the card without an invoice, it gets flagged as fraud and the card gets frozen.
I bet you get maybe two instances of this before people start remembering to submit invoices. Make them wait two hours to clear and reactivate the card every time this happens.
You're in Sri Lanka and your company card isn't working? Damn that sucks, let me look into why. Oh, it looks like there's an unexplained expense on the card that has been flagged for fraud and the card is not operable. Please submit an invoice for all company card expenses as soon as possible to avoid this in the future.
Cast Fly yourselves or purchase/acquire some boots of flying
Elemental resistance or immunity vs the element of dragon's breath you expect to be meeting, from the Protection From Energy spell or from equippable gear
If you're confident in your spell save DC, Hold Monster is a fun one to cast on any flying creatures
buy a bow and arrow
better yet, buy a ballista and a mule to tow it around
buy a couple dozen health potions that you chug furiously on the rounds that you aren't being breath-attack-strafed
There are a lot of ways to deal with this, you just have to get creative and maybe set yourselves a short side quest or two to acquire what you need for the real job. Half of the above suggestions can be accomplished by a single tactically minded cleric, and no arcane caster worth his salt isn't going to know how to fly by level five, wizards that can't fly generally don't live very long and sorcerors that can't fly don't get laid.
Linux noob here, I've been running Mint for about a year and constantly bitching about my Nvidia card's performance vs. Windows. I have the most updated closed source drivers installed, but cooking shaders on games still takes a half hour and many games run like trash even after precompiling said shaders. Space Marine 2 comes to mind, runs like butter on my Win10 partition but is basically unplayable on Linux.
Am I hearing that I just need to switch to Bazzite and this problem disappears?? Because on God I will do that literally tonight if that's true. I had been holding out for a new batch of Nvidia proprietary drivers to hit the scene or else just resigning myself to having to buy an AMD card.
I'd expect that Bazzite and Mint would use the same Nvidia proprietary drivers without much noticeable change in performance, but to be honest I don't know jack about shit about their back end behind the scenes processes so I could be wildly off base.
Those chests will guaranteed survive at least two hits from any weapon in the game, just have any sort of tactical restraint and you'll never encounter this problem. If you hit it once and a health bar appears, keep swinging, if not then don't. Simple easy
Also, DS2 mimics have visible teeth, as well as a completely different chest model with extra locks on the front of it.
You think things are going to get cheaper just because there's an excess of it? No, no, that's not how that works here. You're used to paying $4 a bag, therefore you will continue paying $4 a bag or more until the heat death of the universe. I'll be surprised if it isn't $6 a bag by this time next year.
Anything not sold will, obviously, be destroyed. Can't have anyone trying to eat it for free.
Repacks are sourced from the scene, and the scene cracks video games. The fact that you get free video games out of it is a side effect.
Could you explain what you mean by this? Are the cracks just done for fun / for clout? I do admit I have wondered what keeps people so reliably cracking new games. Seems like a thankless job.
Huh. Did that come with an update? I remember trying to play HZD when I first got my steam deck and it consistently hit about 14fps during combat at the lowest settings. Completely unplayable. I just uninstalled it and didn't try again, but maybe I should now.
That's effectively already how SpaceX manages to function, they (allegedly) have an entire team of people dedicated to distracting Musk with bullshit whenever he visits the office so that the actual engineers can work in peace without their CEO mandating stupid ideas.
They saw the "Human eyes don't have LIDAR so Teslas don't need them either" and said yeah, fuck that, we can't allow him input here.
