  • Are you talking about google services? Because all google apps are spying on you

  • Is tuta better than protonmail?

  • We may not always have that option...

  • I only have one pi4 and an older pi3b. I don't know if the pi3 can run one of them.

  • Its not meant for gaming. People who display a lot of text (eg. coders) could use less strain in their eyes if they're doing it for a long time. Definitely not at that price though

  • Thank you, your reply made me understand the two services better. I will setup immich for now and I will install nextcloud for my files at a later date.

  • OK than you for your reply. I will look more into immich.

  • DeGoogle Yourself @lemmy.ml

    Nextcloud or Immich?

  • I personally use signal. Never had problems with video calls or anything really.

  • WHAAAT? I would NEVER expect that from a company so good that cares about me and my data. They even tell me that in the perfect operating system! Windows! I just love bloat and ads and ai everywhere on my 150$ piece of software!!!

  • Fuck online only games

  • Lineage and grpahene do different things. Research and find the right for yourself. And instead of lineage you could find a crdroid on if you for example want more customization

  • Graphene is basically android too. If you install lineage without gapps for example, I think you'll have great privacy. About the second, I don't know..

  • Yes, there are different distros for people with different wants. That's the beauty of Linux.

  • I agree with you. I didn't say Debian was bad. There are people who want the stability of Debian and that's not a bad thing

  • Sure its the most stable, but the packages are usually out of date
