Europe@feddit.org•With all those American attacks on European unity and identity, it's about time to ditch all those crappy clothes with American flags on it, and start wearing EUROPEAN flags. #EuropeTogether🇪🇺💪English
11·4 months agoShow your support for European values by buying clothes made outside of Europe under horrible environmental and human conditions! (That’s my assumption since there is no info on the website)
I also tried the same options and was not satisfied by any. Good luck with your program! I would be curious to try it when it’s ready.
I was also sceptical, but then I started to use codecompanion.nvim with Hugging Face recently. It works quite well and can be helpful for coding.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Friendly reminder that Tailscale is VC-funded and driving towards IPOEnglish
3·10 months agoTailscale offers a paid Mullvad integration, where you can select most Mullvad servers as exit nodes. Works quite well.
Would you mind sharing the code?
Revolut works fine on CalyxOS.

Linux@programming.dev•How to minimize pain of Windows in work environment?
3·1 year agoIf you are used to your custom tiling window manager, you are less productive on Windows. Additionally, you have an increased anger level due to all the Windows annoyances.
They have core boot, which is a big plus, but the hardware itself is not open source.
You can also buy it second hand or get an older version for less money and upgrade later.
The upgradability and reparability is also a cost saving factor on the longer run. I broke the screen once and instead of buying a new laptop or have a costly repair, I just got a replacement for 200 bucks and fixed it easily myself.
Out of the box battery was not great for the 11th gen, but with the correct settings I get 0.4-0.5% drain/h in standby.
Revolut still works well on CalyxOS.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Are there any working instances of Invidious left?
2·1 year agoFor me it usually works to change server/country if a video is not working. Sometimes it takes 2-3 tries, and it is annoying.

Congratulations!
Do I understand correctly that you log in to your router over Tailscale and then from their you SSH into your server to uncrypt? Or can you access your server directly?
I set up Dropbear also for my server, but can only access it over local SSH. So I set up a Raspberry Pi which allows me to remotely unlock the server.
