  • Department of feeding and testing kids.

  • Let me introduce you to Spec Ops the Line. A game where wanting to blow stuff up is the political statement.

  • I'm not sure about always. That's just lazy world building to have orcs naturally evil instead of predominantly mind controlled or ruled by evil leaders or some sort of blood fued. It's the same with good aligned races. Unless you want to focus on the definition of good and evil.

  • I learned after the fact, that most of Torchwood is just how John Barrowman is. He insisted on having a scene with a shirtless Stephen Amell in Arrow as well.

  • Valerian and the city of a thousand planets. It's an amazing setting and if you put some leads with actual chemistry in a sequel it could do well.

  • I doubt the maga movement survived the death of trump. It will balkanize without him.

  • Rome went from super power to military joke, so I'd say they changed.

  • Death Note and Code Geass are some of the best psychological thrillers.

Cowboy Bebop is an all time great.

Seven Deadly Sins is fun and Four Knights of the Apocalypse is a good sequel.

Bojack Horseman and F is for Family are good western adult animation.

Violet Evergarden is a good romantic/emotional show.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and Dungeon Meshi/Delicious in Dungeon are good shows in somewhat the same genre as vox Machina.

RWBY is worth watching at least through season 3, the creator died during the third seasons and the later stuff isn't quite as good.

  • Nothing much. Republicans have been distancing from trump since solid red elections went blue. This is just more of that.

  • You're thinking about it as a user. AI based auto complete is an impressive sounding feature that got someone a promotion or bonus.

  • AI in Excel sounds great as a prompting system to make features more usable. As auto complete for cell level values it would be absurd. Being able to prompt a pivot table or let AI figure out the combination of functions to get a value you wanted seems useful.

  • It really sucks looking for a job right now without having a profile, so many applications are asking for or even requiring one. I suppose it also prevents me from working for any company that uses LinkedIn as a major factor in hiring decisions.

  • It's not just polls, there have been elections, they went badly for Republican candidates.

  • Land use would be lower if we reduced livestock, but likely not massively. Lots of grazing land isn't suitable for farming, letting it go wild would also require a massive effort to reintroduce natural grazing animals, which would likely need active management. There's also the fact most of our crops would need to change to optimize for human consumption, and humans aren't as efficient at consuming those calories as livestock. Even after transitioning crops there's going to be a significant amount that isn't processable by humans that would sustain some amount of livestock.

  • I assumed it would be slow, that's what he does, and his shows have gotten progressively slower.

  • I binged most the sonic stuff other than the old cartoon a while ago and most of it was pretty good. Boom was definitely the best though.

  • Timezones really suck because it only takes one person doing something wrong and it makes a giant mess.

  • Mostly no, but maybe yes. The problem would be licenses that are granted to anyone that hosts your content could allow them to use it for such things. If you completely self host or carefully select for services that don't have terms that allow them to use your data, then maybe you have a legal claim you could make.

The second problem is going to be proving a company used your data to train on. You likely can't prove they have a copy, if it's been parsed into some sort of meta data, it may be permissable anyway.

  • The Batman Arkham games gradually add visible damage to you as you die and reload. It's not exactly story relevant, but adds nice flavor.

There's also resetti in animal crossing that is a bit of the opposite. He just shames you and wastes your time for save scumming.
