  • As someone whose first TES was Morrowind, it set the bar so high in terms of worldbuilding, I was honestly a bit disappointed with the later entries into the series. Oblivion (more generic fantasy setting) and Skyrim (nordic with dragons) definitely played better, but the worlds were much less unique and memorable.

  • Mass Effect completely blew me away when it came out. Loved the overall lore about the Reaper threat and how the different species were connected to each other.

Horizon: Zero Dawn was also great in that regard, and the world felt really well put together, even though the lore wasn't quite as deep.

  • Considering she's moving for her job, she probably does not want the guy to be the sole breadwinner, and that's also why "workaholic" is a problem. She's not fully aligned with the conservative ideology here, because she seems to want the God and family bits but not the paternalistic-power-structure-with-one-man-at-the-top bit. Meanwhile, the guys she's trying to date probably emphasize that last part and are looking for a conservative wife who stays home with the kids all day.

  • Here it is, here it is... Pole to platform, 360 spin on the ladder, backflip gainer (gainer!) onto the floor.

  • IDK man, in my city, most intersections have a stopping area for bikes a few meters ahead of where cars are supposed to stop, to protect cyclists when they are making a turn. Cars going over the line and blocking this area is an extremely common occurrence (more often than not I'd say). I would love to have someone go around and just bonk people for stuff like this. I agree with point c.

  • I feel like this is also a Gen Z thing. Millennials try so hard with everything all the time, Gen Z probably thinks that's annoying (but maybe cute how naive and stupid we are to still try?). So "Ok Boomer" it is, which makes the exact effort to deal with boomers as boomers make in dealing with everything other than themselves.

  • I was referring to their activities for Voice of Europe, a Russian news organization that provided lucrative speaking gigs to both Bystron and Krah and many other right-wing politicians. The full-blown espionage that Krah was also involved in through his aide (Jian G.) is a separate matter. I was trying to "steel-man" the argument that, even if by ignorance, they pass on information at least recklessly. Sorry, I should've specified what "actors" I meant.

  • There are multiple well-documented cases of AfD politicians colluding with Russian state actors (Petr Bystron, Maximilian Krah), and the same is true for many other figures in the European extreme right. Even if these people weren't actively passing on information, which they probably are doing, they are far too stupid to not accidentally leak information to the Russian secret service.

  • "Architects of well-known type of crypto scam accused of running crypto scam."

  • Man, just look at that dramatic ass pose. He's full of shit.

  • I'm the one who gets to pick how it's rebuilt

What if he's not, though? What if the courts ordered that the building must be rebuilt the way it was? I don't think that'll happen, but I wouldn't mind if it did.

  • That is so dumb it's almost funny (almost).

  • Congratulations, you now trained your cats to play this little mind game once a day every day.

  • Left one's the liar 100%

  • "Blah blah blah... 'click sign in'... Okay, gotcha!"

  • Man, I hate these stupid jokes. Every time someone goes "statistically, one in three people is X, now look at the person to your left and right", I want to scream "HAHAHAHAHAHAH SO FUNNY THAT'S STATISTICS FOR YOU AMIRITE" with an absolutely straight face. Bad enough they don't know how statistics work, but they're perpetuating other people's ignorance on top of that.

  • Well well well, if it isn't the RE1 to Magdeburg stopping at Berlin Alexanderplatz.

  • Cats' inner demons are definitely orange.
