  • iPhone 13 Pro user here: I don't like it. Heavy as f... and sharp edges all around. The best iPhone designs were the 3G(s), which felt natural in the hands because of the size and rounded back, and - from the more recent designs - the X and 11 series. The rounded frame was just so much better.

  • People there however find the concept of Lemmy "too complicated", just because they aren't able to wrap their heads around the concept of having a separated account and app. One guy even claimed that one can only access communities inside the instance where the account is, thus it's necessary to have an account for each instance.   • I run all critical services like PiHole, Homebridge and Loxberry on separate Pi machines, a Pi Zero 2 for apps I need to have 24/7 like Portainer and Heimdall. My main server is a Dell which serves Jellyfin, Immich and other stuff. All servers back up their data on my NAS, which itself is doing a nightly backup on a dedicated HDD. I need to have an out-of-home backup yet, but comes time comes money.

  • Use the more expensive "industrial" grade SD cards. Those are built differently and certified for more demanding use and cost about twice the price. But SD cards are cheap anyway, so that's not a deal breaker for going this route.

  • Pinchflat allows to download and/or embed thumbnails and subtitles, as well as creates nfo files. I am using it together with Jellyfin and it works totally fine
