    though i wish i knew what methods they used to make the guy appear like perfect hire if he actually is an operative, maybe it might be useful information to actually just get a job. Getting a job nowdays feels more like trying to "steal" yourself a place in society rather than just being part of society. Having a job is a privilege.

  • if usa was a democracy and people had any power, maybe..? might as well try oust putin out of power, maybe the response is still less violent than it would be in russia, but you'll have as much success. Though with enough people demanding something, change happens or steps toward change start to happen, but way america is you need really thorough rebuilding of your entire political system for things to get better.

    But as quick patch one thing that comes to my mind is abandoning both sides of your oneparty system and starting a third pary, but that is just temporary because eventually it will be either taken down or corrupted, but it might give you at least something without having to resort to more violent measures.

  • no, thats escaping the machine of suffering. If you do that, you wont buy as much stuff, wont buy expensive therapies and medications and ultimately might not do something that lands you into private prison and create revenue through slave labour. And by keeping it illegal, they get excuse to imprison you anyway or at least take your money. And by keeping it illegal, they dont have to tax it which mean the rich can get all the profits themselves by being at the top of the pyramid.

    the rich cant do anything they want, evidently. otherwise they would have already done way worse than what has been done. They still need to keep us docile because we could make a difference if enough of us rose up against them.

    at least that is how i think the internal thought process goes for the ones who make the rules. Maybe there is less deliberate planning going on for real, but all they have to do is inherit the previous system and improve on it.

    I wish i could do hacking, then it might be possible to find at least some proof. Maybe its possible through gathering information out there and making logical detuctions and combining it, but i dont have the energy to do it anyway, especially since it would just drown in all the other information out there.

  • i recommend using portmaster, its kind of extra firewall since windows default is shit. At least you'll be able to see if something you install is connecting to internet and maybe even block it, though if you dont pay you get only 15min history data. Maybe it wont help preventing infections, but it might help mitigate damage and potentially reveal strange traffic, though i wouldnt count on it too much. Better than nothing at least.

    Or if there is some other program that does the same but is better then go with that, just dont rely on default firewall imo.

  • "safe" level does not mean ineffective level. Maybe its not danger to health but it can still cause something bad. Maybe it accumulates in time, maybe it cases changes in the body that cause something slight that you wouldnt even think to link to this.

  • see it as it is; full of shitty people with maybe some decent ones sprinkled here and there, owned by even shittier people. How ever it is now, it will get worse in future. Sooner you get off, easier time you will have since eventually it will get to the point you have to leave or just accept everything and hate yourself for it.

    Develop some contempt towards corporations in general -> it goes long way to help resist their bullshit.

  • one thing i have noticed here is that often people will engage in actually productive discussion even if they disagree. I also welcome being corrected, often that is the best thing here since it lets me actually learn/correct something with my thoughts.

    but then again, maybe this is just test run for taking away "unwanted" people, using handily mistaken facial recognition as excuse. If cases like this start happening more its propably that, and if they start happening enough people will lose interest and it wont be covere by media so much anymore. And after that they have neat system where they can capture anyone they want and can claim "mistake" if they get caught.
