It’s the New Jim Crow.
It’s the New Jim Crow.
I went with bookstack. Simple to use and does exactly what OP is asking. Tailscale to connect so it isn’t public at all. Works great for me.
Which is why they are experimenting with destroying the Houston ISD. Forcing parents to choose between sending their children to prison factories or supporting vouchers to try and get something like an education.
They have logs of him using the school’s network to visit ai audio generators, so that case will probably stick…
The hitchhikers’ radio series on cassette started my love of audiobooks. I listened to it dozens of times as a teen. Went to sleep listening to it.
You are paying to use Google, with all your data feeding their advertising machine.
You can get two more for $10 from teslas site… but I believe you need one to program them. My wife and I keep ours in our wallets, just in case phone keys don’t work or get stolen.
It’s something they “broke” recently. You used to require a physical card to pair a new phone key. I noticed when I replaced my phone that it was no longer needed. They should be able to fix it easily, but I’m sure they won’t.
You can enable pin to drive to reduce the risk, but if you have the creds and there is no 2FA on the account then you can use the app to bypass it.
They are doing you a favor. I bought my kid a Dell laptop (xps13) for college and 6 months later the battery life dropped from 12 hours to 2 and Dell support said it was normal and refused to do anything about it. That was after the original order which was supposed to take 6 weeks for delivery (bad enough) actually took 14 weeks. It arrived two days before they left for school. Worst experience ever.
The replacement MacBook Air was delivered to their dorm the next day and has been flawless since (over a year now). It actually cost less too.
I’m actively looking for opportunities to use AI to replace the work I do, and not finding many effective ones so far. Sure it can write some crappy code for me, but writing code comes after the hard part, which is identifying the problem and how it could be solved with tech. Novel problems need novel solutions and an LLM can’t generate those.
Unfortunately this doesn’t say if they (Ercot) are going to comply with national regulations, which was apparently why they refused to connect in the first place.
We Texans don’t need none of that safety or reliability forced down our throats! 🇵🇷the starts at night, are big and bright! 🇵🇷
(I know that isn’t the Texas flag)
