  • Publicly banning opinions and beliefs is the fastest way to lead to murder and physical violence. Most commonly, murdering those that have been banned for not conforming. But if you can find other areas of personal interests and enjoyment to build friendships with people who disagree with your opinions, the collective whole is not so hostile.

  • By your logic, you must show respect and acceptance to libertarians or anyone who follows religious teachings if they are not trying to punch or shoot anyone. Other than that, that's what criminal law is for, to protect everyone from execution or assassination, but rejecting people, refusing to associate certain types of people because they find certain kind of people disgusting does not equate to planning mass murder.

  • Yes, anarchists are leftists. I am asking about the context that people use the term "far right" as a collective insult. The common theme I see is it seems people are labelled "far right" as a tactic by those who live through the internet and not outside shaking hands with new people, done as tactic online to prevent anyone speaking bluntly that is not terrified of words, or disagreements and objections.

  • I don't use Matrix due to a permanent copy of all activity being kept on servers. It seems Matrix only has private group chats but not end-to-end direct messaging to add a contact and message them, you have to invite a user to a chat.

  • You blocking me does not qualify as censorship due to individual liberties. I can agree that if someone is frequently complaining about trans people, even some people who agree will grow tired of the negativity. There is a problem trying to public promote a service as an established service and attract new users, and then to say "No, we don't allow your kind in here, you are only allowed to agree with every word we say", that starts to look like a bait and switch scam and pushing dictatorial censorship.

    Do an internet search for "mastodon censorship" and read through 10 different search results.

  • Do people have a right to disagree with you? When you comment on any subject or topic, whatever it might be, do others have right to not support what you believe in? No marriage or serious relationship can last with restrictions on personal thought. Successful marriages must have room for disagreements.

  • I will second the others that only suggest Signal or a variant of Signal like Langis or Molly. Everybody has each other's phone numbers, go with Signal so people don't need any other contact information.

  • For which ROM to use, I believe any ROM based on AOSP will suffice because even that will fully eliminate all Google tracking, I think LineageOS is the worst one. I do recommend Pixel since you can lock the bootloader after flashing it. You could try CalyxOS.

    For privacy, I only use phone for communication, I don't use cell data service so no internet when I'm outside, no messaging, until I connect to wi-fi again. In F-Droid I turn off all anti-features in settings, and everything I install is from F-Droid. No social media and no Aurora store to use Play Store
