  • Has anyone else noticed that anime art is just becoming more “flat”. Noticing that with Kakuriyo season 2. It feels like they’re eschewing proper shading and speed running things. The studio changed in between so that may be it, but I’m seeing it with more anime. Don’t get me started on Demon Lord, Retry S2.

  • I haven’t watched too many subs recently, however I have a bug where CC is enabled on every episode, even after disabling it in settings, and I can tell you that’s gone to shit. Especially with names or Japanese words that aren’t translated.

  • Two come to mind but I don’t think their “wow I’m a girl and that’s what I wanted!” as much as they become comfortable and accept themselves.

    “Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout” and one of the OGs, “Ranma 1/2”…

    though the latter may not completely count, in the later seasons Ranma becomes much more comfortable in his female form.

  • I’m still enjoying it. One of the better isekais out there right now. It’s not perfect and a bit formulaic at times but the art, setting and character designs are quite good.

    If you’re looking for an amazing story that would win a Pulitzer, keep looking, but if you want an entertaining weekly show to dive in to, it’s been good.

  • I have premium and I just prefer to pull straight from the source rather than getting a rip someone else did. It lets me customize the highest quality I want. I’ve used Zotify and usually rip straight from BDs normally too, but it sounds like I might just have to find the webrips like you said.
