Not tv or a movie and more a sprint than a game, but we always fit in a round of "Have A Drink on Me" by AC/DC. The rules are self-explanatory.
Gets intense at the end
What you attributed to me was the task presented to both genders, not the explanation I gave. They were still supposed to come up with an explanation so I don't know why you left that out in the latter
But you think the examples given were honest—Non-corporeal concepts?
It happens. I used to always, regularly mix up George C. Scott with Cristopher Lloyd. Not that I confused them, but the names would get jumbled. I think it was because I sort of learned them at a similar time and he says, "great Scott!" so it got all muddled. Who knows what happens in our meat computers
Also, I know you were a little embarrassed, but you shouldn't delete the post. People coming later have a hard time piecing things back together
That may all be true. I think companies are now relying on airbags to do a lot of the legwork in crashes nowadays. but the talk was of reliability not safety
The thing about the early VWs, like the Beetle, was they couldn't pass the updated safety standards the US passed in the early '70s: safety glass, reinforced cabin, etc.
I hear what you're saying, and I don't know what else they might do for the formula. I just knew from somewhere back in my head that that's the basic way they do it
I don't think you appreciate how remote many people are in the US. There's now way they would ever run cable or ISDN out to them. A run of an ISDN line can only be really short.
"crutch" is used too, but it's a little different: more something someone relies on too much; it might be a fine option, but the person doesn't look further for something better
No, still evolving. I'm sure if it ever got to some sci-fi, brain-jacked virtual reality, people would still be chasing elusive more realistic experiences
I don't think I ever had a point where I felt things reached a pinnacle. Photo-realistic was a goal, but nothing reached that. Some games looked good and I could be impressed with 3d, but that excitement was about how good they were getting, so anticipating what they would look like in the future
