  • Yes, I use Youtube almost daily.I try to avoid clickbait, on those that are too obvious I hit the not interested button.I'm not sure if I stopped watching some people but one thing I started to do is open clickbaity videos in a new tab so if the video was bad I can go to the previous tab and hit the "do not recommend this channel" option.No.No.No.I don't see it as an evil per se, mostly as a lazy resource. I see it like an easy joke, it can be funny but if not delivered properly it will fall flat.

  • Yes, the more I look into it the more convinced I am that it is time to retire that old thing and buy a new one. I guess it will be a good excuse to get a new PC for gaming and relegate the current one to media player duties.

  • I listen to podcasts or audiobooks, I often read from an eReader so from the outside can appear work related. But I also do a lot of origami so I don't know.

  • I'm on linux. That old PC is a refurbished HP Compaq 8000 I bought for 40 euros I don't know how many years ago when it was already old.

I'm aware that at this point I'm asking too much out of that poor thing but it kept me thinking if there was a way to get just the interface of one of those media servers as a way to browse then open the file with the default player.

  • No, the other way around, something to work locally. I can't reach that PC with wifi or ethernet, so I have a big HDD attached to it.Right now I using it like a regular desktop PC, ile browser and vlc, it is fine but it would be nicer if I could a user interface more similar to what you get with jellyfin since I'm using from a sofa.

I tried jellyfin but it is an old PC it can't run all the services at once.

  • Chats should receive the exact same considerations as conversations in person.

  • Not favourite but very useful these last two months for losing some weight.

Trale, it does one thing and it does it well. Keeps track of body weight and makes a graph.

FitBook, for counting calories. I think it can do some other things but I only use it for that.

  • Porco Rosso

  • I agree, just say that it now uses the latest in AI technology, no further details, they are trade secret.

  • Thanks, there were many translations and I wasn't sure which one was the correct one.

  • If it is any similar to the gas stoves in my kitchen it is either a problem with the nozzle (I don't know how it is called in English, the thing with a tiny hole where the gas comes from) or that the air intakes are dirty. Sometimes the air intakes aren't obvious at all so my recommendation is to clean it all as thoroughly as possible.

  • I use tags in the voyager app to remember users after meaningful interactions.

  • That depends entirely on what each person finds entertaining, and even then I bet there's a bunch of people that would argue that some of those top 100 movies aren't entertainment but culture.Nothing wrong with not liking a movie or show even before watching it but I would recommend to give them a chance from time to time just in case, you never know. This is something I miss from old linear TV, to have stuff already on that you started watching out of boredom because there wasn't anything good on and then realising that it was more interesting than expected.

To find those movies or shows boring it's not being picky. For me picky would be for example to only watch movies if certain people are in it.

  • Just a bit above minimum wage in Spain, I'm lucky enough to not have to pay rent and I'm quite frugal, so I'm doing well enough. I don't feel poor because I don't lack anything but I know that I can't afford lots of stuff.

  • Have you considered origami? You can start very cheaply with scrap paper and free diagrams from internet.

To some it might not seem very creative if you don't design your own models but I like to compare it to music, not all musicians are composers, most are interpreters and some add their own twist to adapt it to their style. The best example for this is Fumiaki's Yoda, search images of it, you'll see how each picture is unique in its own way.

  • I once had a corrupt .dll system file, after trying for hours to find a copy to download it took ten seconds to find and download one on emule thanks to people sharing the entire system.

  • I did that back then with emule, I searched for any file that started with dcim or img0 and put everything on the download list. Lots of random shit. HAHAHAHA
