What is the point of knowing every language if I can't use them? Option two is the less nightmarish.
I can see the first option as a Twilight Zone episode with the dude not realising of the random changes and going crazy when no one can understand him.
When I was a child I was able to hear some sort of very high pitch noise when someone was approaching, like about enter the room or just from around the corner. I was about 3 or 4, young enough to think that was normal for everyone.
The noise was like the noise that I now think is some sort of tinnitus.
I really hate their power saving features. When combined with other shitty power saving features from the computer I encountered a case where the monitor turns itself off because it's not receiving a signal and the PC is not sending any signal because it is not detecting anything connected anymore.
Also, because they take a few seconds to turn on and show a splash screen I have to guess by noise of the fans when I can press the key to enter the bios or select the boot drive.
It's hard to describe, my best shot would be a bit like vertigo but without any of the motion sickness. I had a sensation that what I was seeing wasn't entirely right while everything was perfectly normal.
It's a nice feature to have but risky. I know a few people with security cameras accessible through internet, I'm sure any of them not only don't have the knowledge to detect if someone else have access to their cameras but the possibility haven't crossed their minds.I definitely lack those abilities so I would air gap the hell out of the entire system.
I tried stramonium a couple times by smoking some seeds, I would describe it as unpleasant enough to not bother again, in the just not worth it category.
