  • Even when they pretend to have 6?

  • Wholey shit! I had no idea.

  • I do the video club approach, browse once a week and download whatever catches my eye.

  • The first time I saw a flowering lettuce it was expected and surprising at the same time.

  • YOLO

    Jump
  • That was the part I understood, it is the other one that I didn't fully understand and I'm not sure if I want to.

  • Ok, I'll ask. What is mlt?

  • Salt (sodium) messes with the ability of plants to absorb certain nutrients from the soil, so if that soil wasn't very rich to begin with it can easily starve whatever is nearby.

I personally tried to kill weeds with salt in certain spots of my backyard and failed because it has plenty of nutrients and good drainage, salt doesn't last long after a couple rains.

  • No, salt is not toxic. But makes it hard for most things to grow until the sodium washes up.

  • I stopped watching veritasium years ago after watching a couple videos that were basically an ad for whatever company and him being smug.

  • Hahaha yes there's that too.

I kept reading and just learned that in the Balearic Islands is called xibeca. I knew that xibeca was species of owl but not that it was the same one.It gives its name to a very popular beer brand and in Catalonia is synonym with a one litre bottle of beer.

  • I just learned that both of them are called gamarús in Catalan.

The mottled is the Gamarús ocel•lat and the black and white is Gamarús capnegre (blackhead)

I heard the name gamarús all my life and I knew it was some kind of owl but I never saw one. From what I'm reading they are mostly the genus Strix.

  • What is this thing? It looks like what the other owls puke.

Edit: I just looked the English word for it. Pellet? Really? With all the fancy words they love in science they settled with pellet? Here's a fancy word for just that egagrópila

  • Hard for me to say because over the years I've lost interest in most channels I watched years ago.

BobbyBroccoli, NightHawkInLight and Technology Connections are three that I always watch every time I notice a new video.

Techmoan is one of those that I watch from time to time.

And Nerdwriter1 is one that I haven't watch in some time but it is hard for me to imagine it having a decline in quality.

  • Depends on what are they warning me about. If it is about gore of something similar I can appreciate it, if it about foul language they can shove that warning up their asses.

  • I read. Right now I don't have anything to read so I do origami.

  • Bird on the right: what do you mean here? The line was over there! We're already screwed.

  • Oh shit! I always thought she looked familiar and I never recognised her.
