are they not underpaid everywhere else too? I don't think this is a USA only issue, all public teachers where I live with the exception of teachers for universities complain about low salary
even with mothern ssds, things sometimes feel slower than what they were with hdds with time accurate software, windows 7 was snappy even on a hdd, windows 11 is slow and sluggish everywhere
yes, when the a company that pretty much popularized loot boxes, skins and trading is the good one you know things are bad
Steam has by far the best user experience of any onljne game store and just softwarr store in general, with refunds, a good and accurate category system, accurate reviews, per game forums, a place to share community mods, achivements, cross platform support, a friends system, group system, cloud sync, a way to devs make availible private and public beta builds, good and granular regional pricing and many more
so many features, yet tim sweeny could never understand why people believe epic store is inferior
I haven't much evidence for the claim: "In China, the working classses control the state"
sure you will say that is my western bias from living with china bad propaganda, but you could actually provide something to me read on topic if possible
as someone from brazil, the whole concept of american gourmet coffee scares me, my grandma puts too much sugar on her coffee but americans are something else
that aint coffee, thats fucking high caffeine milkshake
they did mention, that were shying away from debian because old software, but still choose pop os (follows the 2 year lts cycle of ubuntu, though the kernel is more up to date)
in the end, elijah (one of the 3 are partaking on the challenge, it isn't just linus) happened to choose a fedora based distro and had like 0 issues, it is almost like they should have had choosen fedora
I find it funny specially since brazil passed a law in august that does that too but explicitly does not allow self declaration of age as verification, pretty much no one talks about
it is a trojan horse of a law (like most of these), doing great things such as trying to ban loot boxes and ban abusive ads targetting minors, the way it seeks to do that is comical
