Iran has open trade relations with China, Russia, and Turkey, which all have significant agricultural output. It also does quite a bit of trade with Europe despite sanctions. It does not have to artificially limit itself to importing only 15% of its food, especially given that irrigation is contributing to an unsustainable water crisis.
I wanted this to be real, but the "reveal" here is scant. Besides a handful of emails with Ehud Barak, what is there?
In their next piece, Drop Site revealed (10/30/25) that Epstein created an Israel/Russia backchannel to attempt to oust Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Hussain and Grim reported that Epstein also worked with Barak and Russian elites to pressure the Obama administration into approving strikes on Iran, demonstrating his “knack for steering the superpowers toward Israel’s interests by leveraging a social network that intersected the Israeli, American and Russian intelligence communities.”
Spectacular failures all around. Russia remained staunch supporters of Assad until his regime fell, and the Obama Admin continually turned down the temperature of the US-Iran relationship.
You wanted him to ally with ISIS instead? There were many factions within Syria that aligned with the US for support to fight Assad and ISIS. The Syrian Democratic Forces are straight-up libertarian socialists. They aligned with the US for support too, now they're part of the Syrian governing coalition
This was a joke that (apparently) no one got about AI chatbots being shoehorned into products. I woke up to a bunch of downvotes, but I thought it was funny
