I recently made the switch and motivated a friend who is still on win7 to go to linux. While installing and setting up his system i realised that you still need some konsole handling skills, that normal windows user not really have. To me thats normal, growing up with dos and win311, but if you started with win 2000 or later. Thats all new stuff.

I think laptops/computers that are all ready setup completely usable, should be a thing, thought.

The windows 11 ads worked. I installed Linux a month ago and would say the transition is done and iam really happy.

Kochbücher sind so scheisse, weil die Gerichte niemand gekocht hat. Die Rezepte kommen vom Rezeptanbieter und die Fotos dazu aus Shutterstock. Für die Bilder braucht man nur ins Bildverzeichnis schauen.

TIL: People who are using wine as an ingredient in a meal, really think they have to use the expensive ones as well. For years we are using just the cheapest bottled wine available. If you think about it, you could also just use balsamic vinegar or something similar for a white wine to add the acidyness/taste. The alcohol does evaporate anyway. But these things are mostly subjective anyway.

Did you try lutris out of flatpak? I don’t know why but this version has less issues. I compared lutris vs bottles and for me the performance of bottles was way worse. (Sadly). Because the bottles ui is much better

Do you know what the issue was? Iam on kubuntu with the flatpak version (important) of lutris and battle.net + sc2 just runs out of the box. With a normal installation of lutris it didn’t.

Ala diese großen Funde waren, hab ich eine Doku darüber angeschaut. Es war seltsam wie sie sich selbst gerühmt haben für ihre Funde, zeitgleich aber mehrmals erwähnt haben das sie nur aufgrund von Tips was gefunden haben, weil es so gut versteckt war. An einer Stelle war sogar: “angeblich soll hier was sein, aber wir finden nichts. Aber aufgrund des Tipps suchen wir doch jetzt nochmal weiter.” Den laden kannst direkt zusperren.
