Man, so many people in this thread at least unintentionally defending shrinkflation. Yes, "a box" isn't what it used to be. I'm sure if Big Agg could figure out a way to shrinkflate chicken's eggs for profit, they would. Don't give these corpo's any support for this robbery practice. They will continue to shrink things, at the same t8ime they increase prices on them to blame inflation.
Good plan, just ensure you isolate that VM from your home network, too. I don't trust my company at all, so their laptop only connects to my guest wifi.
This is where I'm at, too. If you're federal LE, rolling around in plain clothes with no ID, go to jail and prove you aren't a criminal. The whole point of the badge is proof you're legitimate.
This is an nginx reverse proxy configuration. It's not passive, like robots.txt, but they probably named it like thatin solidarity with the intent of robots.txt. You're on-point about Alibaba though, which I'm sure could be somewhat easily added to this nginx blocking strategy. Anubis is still probably a better solution, since it doesn't have that limitation of having LLM bots pass a user-agent.
Companies have been using algo-assisted application screening for way longer than LLM's have been rapping on this process. It has just mad a bad problem worse.
I assume that's HVAC. Makes more sense to fix that before solar.
