Gypsy originally (at least in the 16th century) meant Egyptian, "from the supposed origin of the people" (which was a wrong supposition ofc)
https://www.etymonline.com/word/Gypsy
..but in Middle French they were Bohémien (see bohemian), and in Spanish also Flamenco "from Flanders." "The gipsies seem doomed to be associated with countries with which they have nothing to do"
Most words arriving from an outside group (exonyms) were often "wrong" as in they were born out a limited POV or a misconception, I still can't find it in me to label them as objectively offensive especially when they are still pervasive in the modern language for referring to a people. I like this quote from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_Germany
Often language lags behind the changing society and names tend to retain references to first encounters: the Finnish first and foremost met the Saxons while the French faced the Alamanni
Depends mostly on the CPU "TDP" (even tho nowadays the TDP is not an actual power limit) and size of heatsink, check out Streacom passive cases for example.
But the essential part in a pc is the heatsink, before the cpu fan (or any fan).
Update: both Fossify Gallery and Fossify File Manager can do this! Just found out :) you select the first image(long press) then long press the last image of the group, it selects them all
Mm basically Ctrl + Shift + select but on a phone.
Not a real solution but a couple of workarounds with Material Files:
if part of the filename matches (like photos taken during 2026-02) you can search then "Select all";
turning on its FTP server than managing from a pc
Real solution would be a file manager with advanced search, that can filter by date range for example.
In general I agree with your POV, I always say people to use all the words they know with me, curse words included when they need them. But personally I'm into etymology because it gives me a sense of ownership of a word, if I know the old meaning hidden inside (or sometimes very different from) the current meaning, I can use a word exactly as it was intended. Or I'm just a nerd lol
Fast Seedvault offline backups. Say you're traveling and wanna backup your phone to a fast usb ssd, or you need to transfer everything to another phone without Internet
I use the mail service included with the domain at Bookmyname, they give you 2GB that you can split between multiple mail accounts, and unlimited aliases that can also send (they are called Identities in K9mail and other programs, you have to add them to send).
The aliases still end with your domain name - for more privacy you can nest them for example one alias to receive simplelogin mails, another for 33mail, ecc.
BTW mailbox.org is a great choice too, probably simpler to use but it costs a bit more.
