Rust is very popular because is as low level as C but has memory safety features builtin, so it is considered the best of both worlds. So basically what you said is correct.
(Disclaimer: I am not a Rust programmer, I prefer C/C++)

Installed. It even has its own engine
Uses rust because it’s memory safe but it is vibe coded and the developer doesn’t know what a borrow checker is.
Just use a high level language at this point

That’s why I have an AC split in my room. Sometimes even it struggles to cool down the area near the window and I have to use a fan

The temperature in my room was 32°C last night at 10:30 PM
Apparently keeping inactive accounts in the database costs more than hosting a store with petabytes of games

The same thing happens here in Italy with the Piracy Shield ™ which blocks a ton of websites even some legit ones. It’s so easy to bypass, just change the DNS.
One day digital is also going to die and we will be forced to stream games on a crappy service that costs 50$ a month
what if it isn’t? I honesty can’t tell
On the Reddit thread they say it is, but I don’t believe it
Actually accurate, their burgers only taste good because of the sauces they put in, the actual meat patty tastes like cardboard in my opinion
I “upgraded” from a GTX1650 to a GTX1060 last year, at least is slightly more powerful an has more VRAM, but it feels like the older architecture dates it, especially on Linux
We have AC guys

I use Invizible pro on my phone and I don’t see any ads even on those shitty Android games

In late 2024 I managed to get a good MVME 512GB SSD for less than 40€! It also clearly has a DRAM cache because it’s really fast. That SSD probably costs at least four times as much now, I should have gotten another one
We need better games with “worse” graphics. I don’t need everything to be “”“photorealistic”“” slop
Yeah I hate it.
It doesn’t have to be like this, I can literally fire up my iPhone 5C with iOS 10 (10 years out of date btw) and still connect to the App Store, Apple Music, use iCloud and see the online leaderboards in games that use Game Center.
Oh, unrelated fun fact: apparently Rovio left the servers open for Angry Birds Epic. 13 years later you can still play even if it is unlisted everywhere
