  • I could be wrong but I think the way foreign litany bases work is that they are in the thinnest legal sense "sovereign foreign territory." To which I mean, the activities conducted on these bases are outside the control of the country who's land they occupy.

    Edit: I was wrong, amd the US are just tennants on the land which makes this a very questionable thing that they are doing.

  • I see they are doing this and I can't help but wonder, to what end? I dont know if its just the current internet echo chamber I occupy but it seems to me that its a fairly universally disliked proposition/concept to continue heaping LLMs into everything.

  • Thats wild, from married to moved out that fast. I'm sorry things turned out that way. I went through a shockingly similar experience last year, so I know how difficult that can be. Grief comes in waves and out of nowhere sometimes. Silver linings like kitties and quiet nights are the little things that can help a lot, I found.
