I watched it at least 200 times when I was a little kid. Maybe I'm a bit autistic, maybe I'm a nerdgirl (probably both) but it was, and still is, one of my faves.
Each and every time the Trump admin pulls this kind of stunt, then walks it back a short time later, the world sees how weak, impotent and incompetent USA leadership is. They see the man behind the curtain now and he is no longer powerful.
I got permanently banned for commenting, "He should have spray painted a swastika instead" in response to a photo of a guy spray-painting USA on a presidential plaque. Apparently that comment was "inciting violence."
Add this to yet another reason the world is turning away from the USA. The USA is losing superpower status faster than a dandelion losing its seeds in the wind.
I'm old enough to remember a Klan leader telling a journalist that times had changed and that klansmen recognized they needed to go about things differently to get what they wanted, and their plan was to infiltrate all levels of government, the police, justice system, etc. This was late 80's, I think.
I had this a few times when I was working an extremely stressful job. Changed jobs and voila! No more ocular migraines. Mine was more silvery and blue than red but otherwise your pic looks just like it.
This man, and all men (yes, all) who hold this belief are actually weak men who are jealous and threatened by women. They need therapy to address the root cause of their toxic masculinity, not arbitrary power over half the population.
How very Marie Antoinette of him.
