  • Ah damn, that doesn't have a backlight, does it?

  • Oh definitely, I agree

  • You forgot the part where this former reality TV host, told you to vote for the other former reality TV host, who then pushed your rent and grocery bills even higher.

Oh, and the OP that posted this article, also told you this time last year to vote for anyone but the person who was directly competing against said former reality TV host who pushed your rent and grocery bills even higher.

Its a fun circle of influence!

  • I'm gonna take the title at face value and assume they will be released to Trump. After the senate sends the bill.

  • BFFs

  • Its because he's putting on the show, to impress those people because he looks up to and idolized them. Everyone else he's around, his staff, the American public, our foreign allies he literally doesn't give a fuck about and so he doesn't need to smile, laugh, or impress them because he depises being around them. Fun times.

  • Based on that thread, I might just use syncthing from termux from now on. The handling of this situation really does not inspire confidence...

  • Number munchers! haha i haven't thought of that game in probably 25 years, damn. Good times.

  • If thats a real clip, I'm shocked he didn't have them arrested for assault, the guy's such a baby.

  • Yeaaah.. As a user, I didn't know they were doing this, its enough to make me question the integrity of the code and maybe switch to something else, like syncthing Tray or just using termux to install it.

  • Thats.. An odd way to do software development. You can pretty much do whatever with git, its a very powerful tool. Shouldn't need to destroy and create repo's regularly..

Worth noting, if the repo never comes back, syncthing tray seems like they added android support per this message.

And it seems like you can install syncthing from termux and just use the webGUI, per that previously linked forum thread.

  • F-droid still has the most current builds available for the catfriend1 syncthing-fork.. But yeah, this isn't good. Damn. Was hoping if they needed to step back from maintaining a project like this, they'd at least have a call for a volunteer, or let the project languish until someone forked it again and took charge.. To shut it down completely, not great for anyone.

  • Like, smashed over the head with a beer bottle? Holy fuck. They really should not have started such a cliché for that in bar fights in movies, I feel like some people think it'll break like the movies and you'll just "hurt the guy a little" not fucking kill them, or give them permanent brain damage.

  • Yup. You've made it clear you hate them.

  • Not who you asked, but I use them for PC games that were built for keyboard and mouse. The track pads on the steamdeck are excellent for emulating a mouse. Baldur's Gate 2, Dungeon Siege, Neverwinter Nights, Morrowind, Age of Empires, etc.

Newer games were built with controllers in mind, so the joysticks probably feel better in those cases.

  • Yeah, I feel like the steam controller was a little hard to get used to, the touchpads always felt a little off, but the steamdeck's touchpads (and presumably the steam controller 2's touchpads) are absolutely perfect.

Easiest way to play games made for the PC on a controller. I've been playing a lot of early 2000's RPG's and they've been perfect on the steamdeck: Baldur's gate 2, Dungeon Siege, Neverwinter Nights, Morrowind, Age of Empires, etc

  • Well, we can't put all of the blame on them, they're just Boys after all. Boys... That are Proud.

  • Oh they're filled with Proud.. Somethings...

  • Which is why Signal removing the SMS was a really bad move. I started to use it as my default SMS app on android was trying to convince others to do the same, so if you're communicating with people that don't have signal its a regular SMS and if they do, its a signal message, no juggling multiple apps that normal people will refuse to do.

Well that idea died, along with any of my regular non-techy contact's usage of signal anymore.

  • Who knows. He claimed he paused tarrifs in the beginning because people were getting 'yippy' (lmao what kind of dismissive, out of touch fucking asshole says that?), so he could just be tired of hearing about poor people's troubles and thinks this will shut everyone up.
