OH GOD!! HERE COMES ELIZABETH WARREN WITH A STEEL CHAIR!
OH GOD!! HERE COMES ELIZABETH WARREN WITH A STEEL CHAIR!
We’re stuck with the lesser of two evils, but until we get something like ranked choice voting, that’s what we have to work with. For now our choices are:
Choice A) a party with some generally decent ideas for improving the quality of living for the majority of Americans. Seeks to help and protect civil rights and marginalized groups, end racism & sexism, and help the middle class. Tools of billionaires and corporations. Has a weird desire to support a genocidal power, with some limp-wristed finger wagging, despite the majority of their constituents being against genocide.
Choice B) a party apparently filled to the brim with religious fruitcakes, grifters, racists, foreign assets, and pedophiles who generally work to make life shittier for everybody not rich, white, and male. Actively committed to ending democracy and installing a religious fascist government. Tools of billionaires and corporations. They will wholeheartedly support genocide and will likely increase aid to make it happen quicker.
Choice C) various parties with some potentially interesting ideas that are getting pushed by one of the two main political parties in an attempt to peel away votes from their opposition party. Used as tools of the major political parties. They don’t support genocide, but because they’ll never get into power in the current system, they’re as powerless as anybody else to do anything about it.
Seems like he was just exercising his right to bear arms, is Trump against the Second Amendment now?
That’s just what the machines want you to believe.
I’m not suggesting it, the post title is suggesting it. They mention the $2.90 fare, as if to show what a pitifully low amount of money they were killed over, which suggests that had it been over a more reasonable sum of money, maybe the shooting would’ve been more understandable. Maybe had it been in the process of stealing a $100 million Van Gogh it would’ve been different.
I know the amount in this situation is ridiculously low… but is there an acceptable amount where shooting would have been justified? How much money should it take for a cop to be able to open fire on a suspect? $50? $100? $1000? 10,000? 1,000,000? What’s the cut-off?
Absolutely obscene.
“It’s just horrible – so surprising to see it here. But we have to get over it. We have to move forward.”
-Trump in response to a school shooting in Iowa, the day after the shooting, back in January 2024.
Trump needs to get over being shot at, that’s the America that him and the GOP have created. If he doesn’t like it… maybe consider some sort of way to control access to guns so that unhinged individuals can’t get them… something like… I don’t know, gun control?
Part of me agrees and wishes our politics could be more elevated than this, but American democracy is at the point where we’re banking on a Taylor Swift endorsement to save us from literal fascists from taking over. That’s where we’re at.
Also love my plain black and white RM2. The pen just works without needing to charge and the simple ability to just twirl it around and erase like an eraser is what makes it the most like paper. Also works great as an e-reader tablet, which is what I end up using it for half the time.
Not sure if I’m not getting some cool kid joke now or what. He’s there near the center-right upper portion, but it looks photoshopped or something and off somehow, but I can’t zoom in enough to tell what’s going on.
There’s also a nerd walking on some guy’s dick just to the lower right of there as well.
How much easier it’s gotten and most of what you download nowadays is usually exactly what you’re looking for. In the 90’s/00’s, alot of what was pirated had the potential to just be total BS or mislabeled, so you were never entirely certain what it was you were getting. I think Madonna had even gotten into it and released a one of her own albums as a fake download with her telling the listener “What the fuck are you doing?” At the time I mostly got music, though the Dreamcast pirating scene was pretty big for me for awhile. I think anymore though I’m probably more interested in obscure RPG books now.
I think with torrenting, there’s a certain amount of trust that’s inherent with some torrents by virtue of the number of downloads/seeders there are on a torrent. At least for me, I can assume, ok, there’s 100 people seeding this thing, chances are this is exactly what it says it is, otherwise this many people wouldn’t be still seeding it (you can fool some people some of the time, or something like that). I don’t pirate nearly as often as I did when I was younger, but now I feel the need to use protection (via a VPN) because you just don’t know who might be watching. In my entire time having pirated stuff over multiple decades, I had only ever gotten a single letter from my ISP, so it’s not something that I ever felt particularly afraid of, but you never know and it’s better to be safe about that stuff.
I don’t know, I can breathe out using my butt, but I’m so straight nothing goes in my butt, not even air.
I like to treat every standard like a limbo bar and see how much lower I can go.
That’s an episode of “Will It Blend?” I didn’t think we’d ever get in real life.
She should’ve mouthed the words, shook her head, gestured towards him, and looked at the presenters like, “Are you seeing this shit?”, that would’ve been icing on the cake.
The only things I don’t like about pooping at work is when there’s no private restrooms or when they don’t have some sort of white noise in the bathrooms (in the case of public restrooms). Inevitably, there’s people who don’t care about shitting in the stall next to mine, which I absolutely hate, I don’t want to hear you shit. I only want to shit when nobody else is around or when the sound of a fan or something blocks out the noise. It’s like some sort of instinctual feeling. Otherwise, pooping at work is great.
Hello fellow Net-heads. My name is Wilbur Arnofsen, I live on 326 Cherry Lane in Sansquata, Michigan, very pleased to meet you all. I’ve heard great things about the information super highway, but I’ve also heard their may be some… problematic things, things like p**nography. Does anybody know the worst sites that I should be on the lookout for to block my kids from looking at those?
Thanks, Wilbur Arnofsen III
In this case, I actually agree with Trump, he needs to disregard the advice of security “professionals” as often as possible. Hell, every now and then he should just do the exact opposite of what they tell him, just to keep them on their toes.
