I'm trying to selfhost some Lemmy communities just for fun :)

Buddhist, researcher, FOSS, Linux, selfhosting enthusiast, plantbased, anarchism and MLM interested.

Trying to be nice. I really dislike the Reddit style aggressive comments. If you are rude I will block and ban you.

  • I’ve only run docker containers with their own db. It sounds more logical to run one db, right? My only concern would be if that db corrupts then they all do.

    Why do you like that over postgresql

  • Having traveled a bit I think the US is one of the better countries for people with physical disabilities, especially roads and buildings wise.

  • bewCloud is a modern and simpler alternative to Nextcloud and ownCloud written in TypeScript

    I’ve also had some dumb issues with it occasionally.
