There was no argument. It was another one of his own comments. He said something along the lines of “you people are morons”. And that got deleted. But because he was so mad, he decided to insult me again, but in a way that wouldn’t get removed. Or maybe it would if it got reported, but I cba. It’s higher chance of him replying and further making my point this way. xD

Exactly. He went from insulting my intelligence in one word to having to use more. But it’s still the same reply in essence. Not sure what you’re trying to add here, however. Probably same as always, just posturing and pretending you’re right hoping nobody would care to check.

Seeing as how I actually watched his video and looked at their sources and other sources and only after that did I reply? Yes. And even to this day I still leave room for doubt. I still think the truth is actually somewhere in the middle. Not you, tho. You’re convinced that what you believe is correct.

  • Not that insane. Most people only concern themselves with their own issues. And if you’re a 40 year old whose childhood home is now worth 500k or whatever and you have to pay 200k in taxes in order to inherit it, then you probably want to vote against it because otherwise the government will take it.

Okay, take all that with a grain of salt because I’m not too familiar with inheritance law, but it’s based on multiple similar stories I’ve heard from people.

I still think it should be taxed, don’t get me wrong. But I understand why people are against it.

You’re arguing with a guy that doesn’t want to change their mind. He literally sent me a video whose sources contradicted him and guess what happened when I pointed that to him? Never bothered to reply and he still uses that video as proof that he’s right.

  • That’s most likely made by whoever is taking care of the tree. They sometimes rot cause of some disease so the rotten part is taken out. I’ve seen some that were so large and had such big pieces missing that they looked as if they were two trees that fused together. Pretty cool.

  • My bad, I must’ve tunnel visioned on some things. But in my defense, the original argument was that he wasn’t doing enough good, not that he wasn’t flawed enough. And with that we’re changing the subject and getting too much into subjectivity. He’s not perfect, far from it… he’s paranoid, his relationships with other characters are far from good or normal because of his issues… his handling of the joker… etc. Could there have been more focus on his flaws and issues? Sure, but that has nothing to do with the original discussion of “why isn’t he using his money to make Gotham a better place”. Which he is, despite what you might say or think. Just because they’re not giving us all the details that doesn’t mean that he isn’t. That’s an artistic choice. You might disagree with that choice, but that doesn’t change the canon.

If there’s one line in the first issue that says “when he’s not busy fighting bad guys, he spends his time investing in social programs and hires ex-convicts in his company in order to reform them and bla bla” and then never mentions it again for the next 300 issues? Then we have to assume that he’s still doing that, because that’s what the writer said. It’s the Batman comics, not the Bruce Wayne comics.
