  • I don't know. This show looks like how to avoid bullets. We gained nothing. We just avoided the 30% tariff with a 15% one.

  • I don't think so. If it was, there would be part of the deal.

  • Raise your standards for food safety and Europe will buy. Europeans are more demanding with what they stuff in their mouths. But the way deregulations and the dismantling of the FDA is going in the US, it’s not going to improve anytime soon.

With Trump in office, is the period of deregulation for US now. In everything. He started with AI.

  • Although buying energy from USA means as LNG. Which is too expensive and can hurt the economy in the long run. Seems more like a bribe to avoid high tariffs for the big EU companies that export to US. Also $600 billion additional investments in US, that could made in EU.

  • And i title that caught my eye after the article :

Nexus Mods will soon require age verification for UK and EU users looking for its treasure trove of adult mods

    SHIT

  • I like how they say out loud that AI will be heavily censored, and we shouldn't trust it, even if it gets better and stop being shit.

  • RAM is ok, i have plenty of it. VRAM (Video RAM) is the problem. The RAM of the GPU, used for showing graphics, UI etc.

  • Just checked my Mint. Why Cinnamon uses so much VRAM? I have over 1GB idle, without anything running. In my Windows i usually have 400Mb with all things closed.

  • machines * big Tech Corps

  • Having out of the box settings doesn't hurt though. If you set Mint correctly it's almost the same.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

In 2016, the European Commission’s competition chief Margrethe Vestager accused Ireland of having granted Apple illegal tax benefits, unfairly diverting investment away from other countries.

Both Apple and Ireland, whose low tax rates helped it attract Big Tech companies to set up their European headquarters, successfully challenged the EU ruling.

But the European Court of Justice has now sided with Vestager, agreeing Apple had unduly benefited from unfair loopholes in Ireland's tax regime, and that the company must now hand Ireland 13 billion euros in back payments.

source: Explainer: Why does Apple have to pay Ireland $14.4 billion?

  • Did you mean that commas are supposed to be used?

  • I'm not even in that continent. Whats your point.

  • Why not blame the SPD that didn't make coalitions to unite the voters? Or that didn't make the Nazis illegal even after burning the parlament? (January 6th equivalent)

Stop blaming the people for others shit.

You voted Trump, you did this.

You voted Republicans the last 20 years you did this.

You supported any goverment that didn't do anything to secure democracy, you did this.

Anyway i don't see Democrats really fighting Trump. I don't know even if the situation will change in the Midterms 2026, with that attitude.

  • This PIS again...

Oh, let's not blame the Nazis and their supporters in 1930s Germany. Let's blame everyone else who didn't vote the SPD.

  • I used my mother's laptop once 2 years ago, and i was like, how the fuck do you people browsing without an adblock?

  • I mean, i have made many bad life choices, but still...
