Oh, that’s marbleous

Okay in relation to what?
Socially speaking, people will look at you weird.
Hygienically speaking, a bad idea as constant moisture etc. risks both bacteria and fungal infection.
If you touch things that other people touch with saliva in your hands, you might run into some trouble because again, it’s unhygienic and most people will think it gross.
If you’re cool with all that, you do you but other people don’t have to be cool with you doing that.

How to Read a Book will make you better informed on what to actually read from that list, though I’d definitely recommend reading some non-western works as well, The Bhagavad Gita, The Conference of the Birds etc.
My cat started as the former because it was my parents cat and they didn’t really socialize her properly. I got her now and I have 0 respect for her personal space and she’s now the latter.

Seamless Co-op for Elden Ring is very fun and very functional. It even worked well with Reforged if anyone is interested in that (slight jank here and there if you’re doing quests so we had some moments of “ok, everyone disconnect and talk to the NPC in your game and then reconnect”.)
Continuing my blind DS2 run. Starting to (literally and figuratively) hit walls in DLC areas and the Drangleic castle with my halberd build and this morning I decided that I’ll do what the game seems to want me to do and change to a strike weapon, probably Dragon Tooth (though I’ll play around with Smelter Hammer too). Get me that durability, easier mechanics (no sweet spot) and ability to better deal with what’s starting to feel like a bit disappointing stream of big-armored-guys-with-fast-and-big-sweeping-attacks. Slightly bummed to feel that I have to do that but it’s better than getting frustrated. Not that I mind swapping weapons generally, I carried a whole arsenal with me in Elden Ring but I didn’t have to respec or worry about upgrade mats in that. In DS2 it’s a bit more of a commitment. But, I did have a good run with the halberd I think and even after respec I can still use the basic one fine if the situation seems right (which in this end-game segment, it never seems to be -_-;).

It’s not news. And arguably this is the type of thing where you benefit from seeing the actual person talking because they have personal experience of what they are talking about. It’s more than just conveying words.

Glad you like it! He’s from a related system (advaita/tantra) so if you know anything of Buddhism, he would sound familiar. He just has stripped away pretty much all of the cultural trappings and focuses purely on the core nondual philosophy and practice.
Also he’s what’s called a “householder”, tantra being primarily a “householder” tradition. Meaning, no sitting alone on mountaintops, it’s realization while engaged with the world.

“lives off emotional support snacks and instant noodles” I felt that in my soul
This is the way.

Continuing my playthrough of Dark Souls 2 for the first time. Currently planning on taking on the poisonous windmill village the name of which I forget. Been having a pretty good time with it. But boy that game is big. Cool though, and I’m enjoying immersing into the world.
Playing a bit of a jack of all trades as I tend to do, but trying to put emphasis on slightly more Dexterityish weapons (Halberd, though I swap situationally).

I’m barely a beginner myself but A: I wanted to say that’s a really cool idea and B: being a beginner your hand will affect the shape. I’d try tactically moistening and letting the work dry into the intended shape. Actually with cotton you’d probably want to make sure it gets all stretched out so it won’t get droopy over time. You could also stagger the increase and decrease spots that they are more evenly all around the work, rather than all in the same vertical line.
Also just as a note, be sure to use non-heating lamps.
Man I’m embarrassed to admit I only recognized Carrie for very obvious reasons.
Also I keep watching this show even though I always just make " D: " face while doing so.
Got annoyed with Reddit and the social media megacorps in general. I can actually sometimes remember and recognize usernames here. Reminds me of old school forums.
