You cannot tell from the code necessarily anyway so anti-AI policies are hard to enforce. In the end the developer (or AI wielding human) is responsible for the code quality and its license which is what matters. All this discussion feels just like the usual culture war dividing the community. I’m more concerned about the intentions of people adding fuel to the fire.

I you are ready to make an exception for the Linux kernel you might as well make an exception for the Debian distribution which is the basis of a lot of stuff.

It might just be slow enough that we don’t notice. We know that increased CO₂ indoors leads to poorer performance from studies. A widely discussed concern is that outdoor CO₂ is increasing and that this could raise indoor baseline levels, meaning buildings might reach cognitively relevant concentrations more easily unless ventilation improves. The issue is not that today’s outdoor CO₂ levels are directly toxic; rather, higher outdoor concentrations reduce the “headroom” between outdoor air and indoor levels generated by occupants.

Auf dem Bizzare Festival 1998 auf dem ich war wurde jemand tot getrampelt. Das war schon immer problematisch. Das jemand in der Menge Angst bekommt finde ich da nicht ganz so schlimm.

Edit: Übrigens genau weil es so eine Engstelle eben nicht gab und alle wild beim Bühnewechsel rüber gestürmt sind.

Ich war nicht dabei, die einen sagen so die anderen so.

Man arrangiert sich damit. Ich kenne eine Gruppe von Leuten, die bringen sich ein Klo-Zelt mit. Ja das ist alles nicht optimal oder angenehm, man schläft auch nicht gut aber den Leuten macht es trotzdem oder sogar deswegen Spaß.

Ein großes Festival ist einfach eine Extremsituation und Menschen sind unterschiedlich. Das ist einfach nicht für jeden was. Manche Menschen gewinnen Kraft wenn sie mit dem Fahrrad durch die Natur fahren, andere müssen sich unter Lebensgefahr den Berg runter jagen. Ich gehe schon länger nicht mehr auf Festivals weil ich weiß, dass mir das zu anstrengend ist. Deswegen müssen sich aber nicht die Festivals ändern, weil es Leute gibt, die das genau so haben wollen.

Deswegen war ja auch geplant das Geld als “Klimageld” wieder an alle auszuzahlen. Leider redet da nur keiner mehr drüber.

While making existing things worse is a good AI use case, it would be better to put all this enthusiasm to think about how to evolutionate version control. Yes AI is good at copying things, that does not mean you should (and put it under a weaker license for corporate to profit from it).
